Great first experience. I went to the Southport location in Chicago and was waiting less than 1 minute. Lucky I got there at that time because lots of people came in after me. The store is not really large so it was hard to walk around to test the shoes without getting in people's way. I was fitted and found the perfect shoes after trying on 3 pairs. Sales person was great even though he was a Cardinals fan.

I’m very new to running, and really wasn’t sure what was going to work for me! Aaron was super kind, patient, and extremely informative!! I had my first run with my new shoes, and they were perfect!! This location will always have my business when it’s time to buy new shoes. ☺️

This store is home to some of the most incompetent retail workers I have ever encountered. First of all, the store is tiny — as in, you can see the entire store and all occupants from any one spot. And yet it took 12 minutes for one of the 8 employees working to even greet me, and by then, another employee had started helping someone who came in 5 minutes after I did. Most of the employees are just constantly in the back for minutes at a time and then emerge with a single pair of shoes, if even. Are they making them themselves back there? Seriously.
Then, when I finally was greeted, I was told there’s a waitlist I should have put my name on when I came in. There’s no signage at the entrance saying this, nor was there an employee to greet me as I already stated. So I guess you’re just supposed to know?
The employee then tells me they can text me to come back and I can walk around the area, and that when it’s my turn a fitting will take about 30 MINUTES. I’m sorry, what? You don’t even know what I’m in here for. I surely wasn’t going to ask for a personalized, customized, tailored shoe fitting. That’s great for Ironman athletes, I’m sure. For regular people, it’s completely unnecessary. My mistake for assuming this was a shoe store when apparently it is a custom foot garment specialist or whatever fancy term they use to make themselves feel “exclusive”.
I literally just needed to try on ANY pair of Brooks shoes to get a rough estimate on my size. Not possible without going through an entire hour long process that involves waiting, shopping elsewhere, and then having a fitting even more involved than a suit fitting, apparently.
If I’d known I needed a freaking appointment to try on shoes I would have just gone somewhere else to begin with.

I went in for a new pair. The shoes are amazing the technology is great but the woman that assisted me, was extremely intense almost like she was trying to get me all set so I could leave the store asap. I wonder if that her personality or she was uncomfortable with our presence. Either way I am never buying from this location. I read the reviews of others and how patient and helpful people are. It was not my experience.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff who are quick to help. I let them know of my shortlist of shoes I wanted to try. The colorway I wanted needed to be ordered, and arrived at the store the very next day. I was given the option to try that pair on to double check the fit, and check out was a breeze. Both visits, multiple people were being helped with multiple styles of running shoe, and everyone seemed to be really happy with their customer service experience. Great selection and even better staff

I had a wonderful experience getting fitted for shoes. After getting measured, the shoes I ended up with are the most comfortable I’ve ever owned, and so well suited to my feet. They ordered shoes for me from another store and they arrived in one day. Thank you to the fleet feet team (shoutout to Trip!)
