Our initial experience with Fox Ford of Chicago was marred by the unprofessional conduct of their sales representative, Lavern Canteen. Despite agreeing on a specific appointment time beforehand, Lavern inexplicably changed it without sufficient notice. She initially blamed a 'clerical error' for the confusion, but later shifted the blame onto us, the potential customers. In subsequent emails, her responses were dismissive and seemed to downplay our valid concerns.This behavior felt like an attempt to manipulate us, which is completely unacceptable in a professional environment. It not only showcased her inability to manage appointments effectively, but also her lack of customer service skills.As a result, we made the decision to take our business elsewhere and purchased a brand new car on the same day as our original appointment at Fox Ford.For those considering buying a vehicle in Chicago, there are numerous reputable alternatives to Fox Ford that we discovered to offer exceptional customer service, unlike the unprofessionalism demonstrated by their sales representative Lavern Canteen.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. Reached out about a used car. Their internet sales guy sent me pictures then gave me a price. I asked one question about pictures from the undercarriage. He then proceeded to tell me he would have to wait until later. I reached out for the next few days and continued to be told that the car had been taken to a local dealer to be checked out. But kept telling me that he would get me the pictures. After about a week of getting the run around I contacted the dealership and asked someone different about the car. They proceeded to tell me the car had been sold previously. But all the time being told by their internet sales team “it’s not ready to be sold”. Be better. This gives good car dealers a bad name. Just know who you are getting into business with and this does not bode well for dealing with a reputable company.

I reached out to Fox Ford looking for a new Maverick via their website. Within a day I got a call back from Lavern Canteen and he helped set me up with a test drive. Once there I worked with Oscar Canizales who sold me the vehicle and made the whole process easy. Overall great service and friendly helpful business.

Responded to an ad for a used vehicle from this dealership listed on Cargurus, as well as Fox's own website. The vehicle was listed for $27,965. I called the dealership and requested to put a deposit on the vehicle to hold it for me. The sales representative said a deposit wasn't necessary, took my information, and assured me that they would hold the vehicle for me while it was going through it's cleaning and inspection. After 10 days I called to inquire about the vehicle, and if it was ready. I was then informed that the new price was $34,900, up $7,000 from it's originally advertised price. It was explained to my by a Sales Manager that the price they initially listed it for was actually the cost of the vehicle to the dealership, not the intended sales price. Furthermore, they felt that with the vehicle service costs that they incurred as well as more realistic market pricing, the new price was "fair". I've bought several cars over the years and have never heard of this kind of lame, and totally unethical way of doing business. "buyers beware".

So two weeks ago you'd charged us over $1800 to repair an issue two weeks ago which WASN'T resolved. & NOW you want to charge an additional $500 to address something that was catalyst for when we brought it in two weeks ago! To THINK I'd considered purchasing a new car at THIS location. I WILL NOT

Chappy was hands down the best cars salesman we have ever worked with. He is patient, kind and very honest. He worked with my husband and I on prices and finding something that would fit our lifestyle and budget. We had a great experience overall and I can't recommend him enough.

Requested information about a vehicle, received an automated email saying someone would reach out to me as soon as possible. No one reached out to me, I ended up calling the dealership. I spoke with some fella by the name of Lavern who told me he had to check with his manager about a vehicle that I was interested in. He said he would call me back in 25 minutes. Here we are DAYS LATER, and he has yet to call me back about “checking” on the vehicle. Poor customer service. You just fumbled commission

First I'd like to thank Tray for his help in the purchasing of my 2022 Ford Explorer XLT. He was professional, always smiling, and a pleasure to speak with. Most importantly I'd like to give kudos and thanks to Rambo in finance! After having a horrific service experience more than once at a suburban dealer I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with Fox Ford. I needed emergency service and had my vehicle towed to them. I never met anyone there until I arrived to pick up my car, but everyone wowed me with their customer service and communication along the way. Everyone I spoke with made me feel important and like my car was in good hands, from the person who scheduled my appointment, to the service advisor who reached out to let me know my car arrived and gather a few more details, to the person who collected payment, to the person that brought my car around. I received a text letting me know I could communicate that way or by phone if I preferred and they were able to send me a detailed estimate I could approve and sign virtually. This was the best service experience I have had in 25 years of owning a car. THANK YOU FOX FORD TEAM!

I just wanted to give Aimmey Garcia praise for the wonderful service she provided. I came in on 8/11 to get an oil change for my Mustang. She was professional and attentive. She didn't do anything extra or go above and beyond from what I observed. She simply did her job! As a customer that has been to many dealers with bad service I can really appreciate that. I also would like to extend a little gratitude to the whole service team because I've been to this service center a few times already and I have always been pleased with the level of customer service. I made an online purchase for the first time for a vehicle. Abel Escobar made me comfortable and prioritized during the entire process.
