My husband has been bringing me home Slice Shop everyday since he found the place. We have another favorite pizza place in the area but think Slice Shop just might top it! The other day he told me they have subs next door. My husband brought me the Italian, I was hooked. Today we actually went in and dined in. I got my sandwich and he got his pizza, we both got what we wanted all in one spot. The grocer has so many items and is way bigger than it looks on the outside. New favorite place!

The workers are very nice but I’ve gotten spoiled cheese, packaged fruits and bad produce here frequently.

Customer service and front-of-house was awesome. This place is so much cooler than Target! I like the produce quality and prices, and I'd rather support small business than a chain store.

The good reviews is a mystery to me. I’ve never had their deli sandwiches but the grocery is mediocre at best - wilted produce, expired dairy.

This local market is extremely well stocked and offers friendly service. It's amazing how much they've fit into a small space.There is a deli counter in the back that makes delicious Boars Head sandwiches.

finally a Boar's Head deli nearby! i have a Whole Foods directly next to my place but their turkey/deli is not great.stopped in and also realised they make sandwiches at the deli as well. will return to try that out. a surprisingly large selection of great brands (local and otherwise) for other grocery products for such a small shop!nice service.

Fresh Stop is the GOAT. The thing I will miss most about moving out of Lakeview. Surprisingly complete grocery section - we often find ethnic ingredients here that aren’t at Mariano’s or Jewel. Their sub sandwiches and burgers rival the best I’ve had in Chicago.And the staff are not only friendly but they’re also legitimately good people. Several times I have seen them help out some of the poor or crazy folk who tend to wander in, even though I’m sure it happens often.

Awesome corner store with high quality products and really great deli in the back! They have staples plus nicer items so it's great to browse. We stopped by to get deli sandwiches. The sandwiches were 10/10 for us. The deli wasn't super busy at the time we went and we were able to get tasty sandwiches very quickly. The carry boars head products and their Italian bread is great. I especially loved the veggie sandwich I got. Will def be coming back regularly to get sandwiches! It's clean and neat inside and the staff is very nice!

They seem to have everything I ever need as a basic grocery store - don't be fooled by it's tiny size! I was blown away this weekend when I went in to buy butter and remembered I was randomly in need of cheese cloth.... So just in case, I asked, and sure enough they were like "Yep it's right over here!" They also sometimes have the best prices on avocados in the area. Beware the many many flavors of Jeni's ice cream... mockingly situated within view of the checkout counter.

I've been looking for a grocery store that can provide me with organic, gluten-free options. Fresh Stop Produce and Market is the perfect location for me! They have a wide selection of foods, beers, and they're conveniently located near my house. I love shopping there!

Great layout with lots of space between specialized counters. Lots of friendly and knowledgeable personnel. Wide and well organized aisles which make shopping even during busy times very efficient.
