My new favorite laundromat!! Very clean and more affordable than other places in the area. They have a little shop in here where you can buy your laundry supplies and the cost is very comparable to buying at any other store. I also love that they have jumbo dryers as well as regular sized dryers for when I wash my blankets or large loads of clothes. They also have the laundry cards where you can add money to so you don’t have to carry quarters or cash. They do have cash machines and the machines do accept quarters if you don’t want the reusable card. 10/10 would recommend trying this place out!!!

This is a great laundromat, I used to go to the one by Horner Park and my clothes would never fully dry even after 30+ minutes! The machine’s all work well, the ladies that work here are so sweet and nice. If something’s not working all you have to do is tell them and they put an out of service sign so you’re not wasting your money on a broken machine. They recently added reloadable cards which is my favorite part about this laundromat! I can forget quarters or cash and not have to go home cause I can reload with apple pay!

SO EXPENSIVE NOW!!
I have been coming here for years. But after the new card system, they raised their prices!!! Like crazy. The small dryers used to be 15 mins, now is only 10 per quarter. Same for the washers. All raised by a dollar.
Meanwhile i agree, it always has a sewer smell, and the soap hatch always has black mold in them. The place is never cleaned either.
Its time to go somewhere else that is much nicer and not as expensive.

The Friendly Wash is an excellent laundry mat located on Kedzie in Albany Park. It's incredibly clean, staff is excellent, and all patrons are friendly. Elizabeth is incredibly kind is willing to help you with any/all washing needs. The machines are large and they also offer a drop-off service. I used them several times while living in Chicago and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a solid, consistent place to do their laundry!

This is a wonderful place to do your laundry. The two ladies that open at 6 am are so nice and helpful. This is my new place to wash.

October 1st 2023: Friendly Wash is my favorite place to go to do laundry. The ladies that work there are SO friendly, kind and accomodating. If you need a cup for quaters from the machine, a key to the washroom or a chair to sit in because your disabled, they are quick to get it. The only thing I'd improve on is the place could use more seats, but they accomodate you if your an older person and disabled. I just ask politely and have always gotten a seat...The employees here are wonderful and although an occasional machine or two may be out, 99.9% of the machines works and are up and running. This is the best laundry mat to come to compared to local laundry mats in the neighboorhood where the laundry machines are all out and they don't clean regularly....this is a very clean facility by the way. Not much food in the vending machine, but that is a small price to pay for the top notch service. I come here to do laundry, not to snack..so I don't mind the snack vending machine. Their is soda at least and a convience store across the street.... UPDATE OCTOBER 31st, 2023: Friendly Wash got a new vending machine, and it's packed with a wonderful array of chips, candy, snacks and beverages. What an exciting addition to the business!

I highly recommend this place. They have a variety of machines in many sizes. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Theres plenty of parking and the prices are cheaper compared to other places near the area.
