“Amazingly fresh & high quality produce. Blows the Jewel and Mariano’s out of the water in terms of quality. Great selection of local & organic breads, mushrooms, and snacks.”

“It's still a good store I know there's a lot of a lot of food that is that is missing because of what's going on but but they try to fill the Shelves as much as they can. Very neat a nice employees. Been a shopping go to for 17 years.
Update 02/23/26 still ok to shop here. Remodeled again inside. Prices are way up higher than 2 years ago. I'm not happy there's gmo products available. So I knocked 1 star down.”
“My favorite store. Prices are reasonable better than Walmart. I always buy Almond Milk, eggs, potatoes, chicken wings, Pink Lady Apples and Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream. Also breakfast meats.”
“Prices on produce are really high, but they have a great selection of frozen and packaged foods that I can't find elsewhere. Also great craft beer and other fun canned drinks, both boozy and not.”
“Nice selection of liquor to choose from. No matter who is on the clock when I have visited, I have been greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. With all the larger corporations taking over the world. It is a great feeling to still be able to walk into a local neighborhood store and talk with real people from our community.”
“Allways sweeet, always good. I put it in my juicer. I make smoothies. I make cocktails. When your ingredients are the best, the results are the best. I never have to worry about sweetness or ripeness when I get melons from Baylors”
“Miguel, Josh, and Beth are absolutely wonderful people. People make a shopping experience- not products. I travel from Park Ridge to this store in my old neighborhood of Belmont - Cragin for numerous reasons. Store and bathroom are immaculate! Products are well organized and displayed. However, it is the staff that makes the experience and a wonderful one at that. As far as security goes.. these are outside contractors and have no relationship to the people working there.Although there are a few that need some professional training , most are quite pleasant. The area has undergone some serious economic issues and closing time is promptly at 8. Be aware and respectful. Worth the trip!”
“Aldi's is a really nice store. I love the "so called secret isle". I have been shopping in that area in the store for years. Seems like any parking space is far from the front door, only criticism.”
“I can say hands-down this is the best. All the I’ve been into in a very long time. Staff was super helpful even though we’re in a busy cycle everything is great and I am so appreciative of them and everything they do.”
“Actually, Aldi's is a good store. They have some good meats, fruits, and vegetables. They even have a very small selection of gluten free products. The only thing they need more of is gluten free products for those of us that have gluten sensitivities like myself.”

“The parking is easy to get in and out. The carts are in good shape. The store is clean and layed out nicely. They have both cashiers and self check out which is nice to pick. The self check out captures good. I usually self check out even with lots of items. I organize my bags open on the side, which once scanned I place it directly in the bag. Then when I pay, I'm already bagged and just go.”
“This is my second time shopping there and the service is the same good. The store is neat, clean, and organized. The only thing I don't like is I have to pay for shopping bags. But, other than that this is my go to place for groceries.”
“They have a variety of vendors, and it's great to walk around. The food is delicious, especially the coffee. Recommend to go 15 minutes after they open since it is less crowded. Vendors sell beautiful bouquets of flowers. There are also vendors who sell clothes located across the street. You can definitely find something you like! It can get crowded, however. They have small tables for two more further inside.”

“Good prices and good products both in vegetables and in the basic basket, although they are not well-known brands, they also sell Mexican tortillas (el Milagro). Ample parking and good hours, as well as good service from the staff.”
“Absolutely refreshing! On a hot summer day, this fruit cart was the perfect stop. I had a mixed fruit cup with chile sauce—fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. It hit the spot!
They also offer fresh lemonade, coconut water, and orange juice. I went with the chilled lemonade, and it was to die for—perfectly tangy, sweet, and super refreshing.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fresh and healthy treat in the heat!”
“Great store, very organized and clean. Staff helpful and willing to help. Plenty of parking and a great location. I was able to find all I was looking for in the store.”

“It's clean and has a good selection of foods. The prices are good! The fruit I bought was really good. I bought some packaged meals with noodles that barely had any meat, but the other items were good.”
“I decided to get a little veggie plant from Aldi one day and I saw this little tomato plant just a little baby tiny thing ..I never grew a tomato plant ever but decided to try it just cost a few bucks …but my surprise this little tiny thing turned out to a big huge bushy growing like a weed plant …if u have the patience and time start with a starter plant or grow flowers or veggies from seeds ..cost less (: these pics like 6 weeks till now ….Will buy more #Aldi veggie or flowers products”

“A diamond in the rough. This supermarket remains a game changer for our neighborhood. Tons of variety, conventional produce being the freshest option. Be very careful with the organic produce here. Much of it expires very quickly and the return policy isn’t amazing. Overall a 8/10.”
“Kind staff, diverse selection of foods, reasonable prices, and they have a good amount of gluten free items considering the space they have. I love living within walking distance of this place. They have everything I need.”
“I called for regular 7up and spoke with a lady in grocery dept. She was very polite and checked to see if it was in stock. 4 for $5 Awesome price. I really liked her follow through and eagerness to help.
Wed. Feb. 26th
Employees like that makes shopping enjoyable. Pete's is my #1 store because of your staff.”
“After a massive fire they're still striving to save the business. Serves the needs of its customers though some complain of some dry goods shortages. Will shop there nonetheless. Great produce. Was not short of reasonably priced eggs back when everyone had shortages or high prices. Discounts if paying in cash.”
“I bin taking my mom there for years and my self and will come again and again. My daughter comes from Florida to get her adobo and sazon lol ????❤️”
“I go to Adrian's for everything. They've got all the protein rich food I need to gain muscle and all the drinks and chips that make me remember my time in Mexico. Whether I'm preparing food for myself or for a party or just trying to win the lottery, Adrian's is where I go.”
“I love the food they sell in the hot line, excellent seasoning, the spiciness is low and that is perfect because many of us eat little chili, and the variety every day there is something different in the stews. The only thing that's true is the attention today I arrived and they were all in the kitchen around 1:45 to 2 pm there was a man in front of me and it took them about 9 minutes or more to come and serve us... but in general very good food . How I would like the chef of this cermak to teach the chef of the cermak on 26 in La Villita how to cook, the seasoning there is very strong and spicy, they use too much pepper. For example, the charro beans from La Villlita are horrible and they use a chorizo that tastes like old bait. Please accommodate the food in the little village since I live closer but I have to drive there for the good food. Thank you”

“Several well known or name brand companies sell items here under a different name so they can still it for cheaper. Low overhead means the cashier may also be the stacker so be nice to them. I only have them 4 stars because they were out of an item I went there to purchase. If they roasted chickens like Costco or Sam's they'd get 6 stars.”
“The owner is sweet and attentive! His produce is fresh, dry/frozen goods are well-stocked, and prices are fair. I had forgotten my reusable bag when I stopped in - he gave me a complimentary one that he had on hand. This is my new neighborhood go-to.”
“Decent marketplace nearby. Prices are okay, but the produce quality has been really low. Lots of products that seem to be bruised or expiring.
Employees are usually nice.
Their guacamole made-in-store is amazing... the spicy one especially.
Did meet a crazy Karen though. In my 6+ years of shopping at Cermak, never had this before especially as a local. Lady picks a fight with me and is upset her husband won't defend her. She also backed down after I spoke up.
Sometimes you get non-locals shopping and they do weird stuff. Hope I never see her again.”
“Awesome little grocery store! A ton of options and great alternative for a local / small shop. If you need cash for payment there is an ATM right up the street at Ink & Iron Custom Tattoo Studio!”
“I love shopping at harvesTime! It is the perfect sized grocery store -- you can be in a and out with what you need fairly quickly. I especially appreciate their freshly baked European style breads and fresh pastries. We typically pick up a spinach spanakopita when we stop in! They also have some unique local items sprinkled throughout the store. Meat from local farms, micro greens, tea blends, chili oil to name a couple. This fits with their ethos as a local independent grocery store.”
