I had an amazing time at Gap #1456 on Southport all because of an associate by the name of Brenda this young lady really knows her stuff‼️ She’s very knowledgeable, passionate, friendly and is the reason why I came back to this particular store which isn’t necessarily my favorite however, I came back because of Brenda and how she treated me the last time I was here! This has become now a place I really like shopping at because of this associate thx for employing people like Brenda what an outstanding employee!

I always like Gap clothes, but there is something about the materials now. looks like it belongs in Walmart. not all but majority.

They have great customer service in this place. I love that. The gap has nice clothes but it's a bit pricey. I live on the clearance rack.

Encountered the rudest worker here. Will not be returning. I came in to shop and make a return and was treated to so disrespectfully. Avoid this store

Tried to return a gift with no gift receipt - not great but not uncommon particularly with a big box store. After waiting 30+ mins in line, giving the gift giver’s number, my license, everything but my first born and SSN, I was told my return was “denied” on items that were not final sale and still returnable. There was a manager override but apparently even with all the identification and info it wasn’t good enough. The manager asked me if I was a person who returned items a lot because their system is tied beyond just GAP related stores like Old Navy - spoiler alert I am not - but ultimately I must have looked shifty enough she couldn’t have found it in her to just give me the severely diminished merchandise credit for the return. Never again; my time was worth far more than what I had to experience at this store.

It feels weird to review a gap but the staff is so friendly and men's deals - partially clearance - are amazing. Always my first stop when I need something new.
It would be nice if their base prices were a bit better but hard to complain when I almost always walk away happy with the stuff I find.

This is somehow the only Gap in the city and I wish there were more! The store is always clean and they have great deals. The workers are helpful and I always love an excuse to bop around Southport.

Typically, my children and I have a good experience at this particular store. Sadly, today was a much different experience. My 10-year old daughter was searching for holiday pajamas and we were approached by a sales associate by the name of Caitlin. She wasn’t in the least bit kind or helpful. In fact, she was awkward and suspicious of us. We were one of three families in the same general vicinity of the store and we were the only ones approached. She said loudly, “HELLO? HELLLLO?” I didn’t realize she was speaking to us until she increased her volume. She asked in a loud and over annunciated voice “ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SOMETHING?!” “DO YOU NEED HELP WITH PAJAMAS? ARE YOU WANTING PAJAMAS?!!!” When I nodded my head and answered no in disbelief at how she was speaking to us she turned away and whispered under her breath, “No need to be so suspicious. ? “ I’m not sure if it was some sort of racial or social profiling, but whatever it was it didn’t feel good and it left my ten and thirteen year olds embarrassed and scratching their heads. Caitlin - If you’re reading this, I will be reporting your behavior and this demeaning interaction to management and corporate.

Great customer service after I had an online order mishap. The manager is friendly, accommodating and wonderful — along with the staff member who helped me return two items.The store itself is definitely not a mall Gap, it has two floors. The first floor has a decent men’s and women’s selection, and the second floor is for Gap Kid and Gap Baby, along with clearance items.
