Garrett Popcorn Shops is a Chicago-style gourmet popcorn business with over 70 years of history, using secret family recipes. The popcorn is cooked in small batches throughout the day with simple ingredients and no preservatives, just as it was when it first sold for 5 cents a bag. The fan favorite is the 'Garrett Mix', a taste explosion combining cheese and caramel popcorn that is simply satisfying and delicious. The popcorn is very fresh, with an almost addictive taste that has people hooked, making special trips or popcorn runs to get it. The shops provide a welcoming experience with great customer service. They open at 10am and had a good selection of popcorn. Very good popcorn! Better than the one on Madison Street which only had Carmel available right at 10am. So we went to the Jackson Street one!

Great popcorn I had the Garret Mix and the combination of the caramel popcorn and the cheese popcorn it's surprisingly good, the staff it's amazing and the store is located near the Money Museum and the Harold Washington library so it is a great place to stop if you are on the city!
