I'll just echo what the other negative reviews said. The guy there was surly and disinterested in helping me. I'm sure he does good work, but I'd rather go to one of the many other bike shops in the area than deal with him.

my first time visiting to get a flat/punctured tube replaced. I thought for sure I would have to leave my bike overnight as it was about 15 minutes to closing time. he was able to fix it for me straight away.

I took my 19 year old bike into to get repaired, I was fully aware this was going to be a pricey fix, but one I was prepared for because this bike has sentimental value to me. This bike needed new everything besides a frame pretty much. Not only did Ezra and David get my bike back to working condition, they helped me pick out lights to mount and gave me maps and advice on riding a bike in Chicago for the first time. On pick up they showed me how to use the lights and helped get me fitted for a helmet. I have never ridden a bike on city streets, but they assured me I would be fine and I was (who would have thought lol). I found Ezra and David to be very personable and easy to talk to about bikes and everything else.

Great experience with Ezra and the entire staff. Bought a bicycle for myself here last year and have loved each day of rides since. Ezra was patient as I hemmed and hawed. Also, took my wife's bike in for service and they fixed an issue another shop could not and it was very affordable.
