The girl cashier wouldn’t let me check out alcohol cause my bf who was with me didn’t have his ID (it wasn’t for him and he wasn’t buying it). After my bf went and got his ID she made me pay for the alcohol separately from the rest of my groceries. Made no sense

H Mart Chicago is one of my favorite places to shop! The store is always clean, well-organized, and filled with an incredible selection of fresh produce, seafood, and Asian groceries that are hard to find anywhere else. I love exploring the aisles—there’s always something new to try. The food court is a huge bonus, offering delicious and authentic dishes at great prices. Staff members are friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience even better. Highly recommend H Mart Chicago to anyone who loves great ingredients and amazing cultural food options.

I love shopping every aisle. Walking away with new finds every time I shop. The staff is friendly. The store is aways neat, organized and bright. It's a must visit if you are tired of the same old grocery store options.

Great selection inside the store but the parking situation is stressful and tedious. Better to park on the street which is a closer walk to the entrance too.

Bad customer service
My phone got stolen from food court
They wouldn't help me to call the police very nasty manager so I called corporate headquarter we will investigate it and will get back to you. They never did maybe Chicago branch h. Mart treat out of town people just like that
I will not do any business with H Mart.
P.S. after one month manager call and said I am very sorry H Mart called police next day Chicago police said we don't get involve on case like phone theft .BS.BS.BS
I JUST DON'T BELIEVE POLICE Will SAID THAT.
H Mart wouldn't call police that day why would you call next day.

Always check the receipt. My cashier was REG2 and she scan the same products 3 times.
So even I bought one product, I had to pay 3 of them.
Idk she scammed me or made mistake but always check the receipt.
I found this happening when I already arrived home where is 3 hr drive from Chicago.

This was my first time visiting this H Mart location. It was 2 hours from closing on a Sunday. I was impressed by the cleanliness and inventory. The shelves were very well stocked! I was impressed by the freshness of everything- especially for the time of day!
