It's our new favorite park in Chicago. There's plenty of space to do a little of everything... walking path, dog park, baseball field, tennis courts, basketball, and even learning how to bike. We set up our camping chairs but there are more than enough benches at this park to sit on and they seem to be clean. There's plenty of shade as well. On a nice day, you may catch a glimpse of some park goers laying out on a blanket enjoying a picnic and even painting.Dog-friendliness: Nice and clean dog park with gravel NOT cement

Between the baseball diamonds, open field, playground, pool, basketball and tennis courts, there is plenty to do for everyone in the family. You will frequently see people setting up a spot on the grass and spending the entire day there. Parking on the side streets isn't too difficult, but there are a few adjoining busy streets to watch out for when crossing with kids. There is some shade around the periphery and at the North and south ends.Playground: The playground features several climbing structures, swing sets, a teeter-totter and a spinner. The ground is mulch, and it is fairly well maintained although the drop from the bottoms of the larger slides is quite big. In general I've found maintenance at this playground to be very good, as broken items are usually fixed within a week or two.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome on leashes in most of the park, and there is a nice dog park on the southwest corner for open play.

Perhaps not the most scenic park for a romantic stroll, unless team sports are a turn on. It does however however have a complete series of ball courts, fields etc. plus a swimming pool and community activity center.

Great park and the little gym is fantastic for the price. Nicest people ever. I'd skip the locker room but it's only $20/ mo no contract and such a nice setting. You can sign up online.

Busy at the park today, with games on the baseball field, birthday party, sack races, and lots of kids on the spacious playground! The kids played hard and enjoyed all the equipment. Only major issues were the public restrooms being closed ?, and the playground being inaccessible for people with disabilities.

Beautiful park, lovely pool. The locker room looks like it hasn't been updated in a while but it does the job. The playground is great and so is the dog park.

Love the playground. The changing table in the ladies room, not so much. The strap was broken and stayed that way long after I bought it to the attention of the park employees.

We visited during quarantine and were surprised to see the park open! So thankful because everything else was closed. Enjoyed lunch in the park with the kiddos.

I LOVE this park, this is the place where I have played baseball at for my entire childhood. The fields are always in pristine condition when it comes to game time. When it’s a rainy day, the park does it’s best to make the fields dry enough to play on by filling wet spots with dry sand. The playground here is very fun and I used to play in it when I was younger and it was so much fun. Overall, this park is amazing and it will always hold a special place in my heart, I recommend this place to anyone, looking for a youth baseball league, or just taking their kids here to have some fun!
