THE coffee spot that nobody knows. Epic views of the river. Super quiet here, not many people but is my new go-to spot to get work done. Only complaint is I wish business hours were longer or open on weekends. TV available to use, board games, and free Retro Arcade machine!

A little hard to find if you aren’t familiar but the super nice staff and great coffee make it worth the hunt!

Hey there, just wanted to drop a quick message to let you know how much I loved my visit to Heritage Outpost. The oat milk latte was absolutely amazing, and the pastries were so delicious! The combination of the creamy latte and the flaky pastries made for the perfect treat. Thank you for creating such a cozy and enjoyable cafe experience. Keep up the great work!

Their savory croissants are really good. I recommend the pastrami and cheese croissant!

Maybe it's because I went on a weekday morning, there were no people, it was quiet, and the view of the river! Feeling a bit far from the hustle and bustle of ChicagoIt's close to Union Station, so I was so tired from taking the train, but it's nice to be able to rest comfortably without going far.The shot is weak enough to taste only milk in the latteIt's just a pity that the fabric chair I was sitting on was too dirty compared to the clean-looking furniture,, I should have just had a cappuccino...

If there was a bucket list of coffee shops to visit while you work on your laptop this one is it ! The large glass windows offer two benefits , you can get some sunbathing in and watch the tour boats go by on the river . There is a lot of seating and wifi works great . It is a nice quiet place as well . BUTTTT - when it's lunch time people flock here with their lunches and it can get a little crowded and loud . My only recommendation is to go before lunch . The coffee is delicious Parking is difficult Wifi works great

Another weird Chicago coffee shop that doesn't have caramel syrup. Lavender, mocha, chocolate and pumpkin. Why Chicago?

This is my new favorite coffee shop and I love how spacious it is, with chill and non-disruptive music, lots of natural light, a patio so you can eat lunch or take a break outside, etc.!! Friendly baristas too

This is my first time here - just discovering it. Finding the front door was actually a bit challenging, but everything after that has been outstanding. Staff very friendly and welcoming, the coffee is excellent and the room is probably the nicest coffee shop I've ever been in. It is quiet and has a ton of very comfortable seating with incredible views of the river. Im about to be a regular here.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but this place is fantastic. A perfect, relaxed atmosphere right across from Union Station, which makes it a great place to wait for a train (way better than spending any extra time in a crowded train station). The staff are always friendly, the layout is spacious with comfortable furniture, and the coffee is excellent—up there with some of the best I’ve had anywhere in Chicago!

Stunning river view. Perfect place to work remotely. So much seating so you never have to hunt for a a table! Drinks pricey, but good

To be honest, coffee houses in office building lobbies always seemed like they were solely for people working in the said buildings. Walking in, I was intimidated someone would ask for my ID. But the security guard kindly pointed where the entrance was, and the baristas treated every customer friendly and kindly. My cappuccino filled the cup to the rim, and the guy behind the counter made an elegant feather on top as well. The coffee was a perfect drinking temperature (I hate when the first sip burns off the taste buds). The morning bun was soft and covered with smooth semi-sweet cream and had a surprise in the center - apple bits. The interior is attractive, there is lots of open space, and floor-to-ceiling windows let natural light in. But the cherry on top is the view of the Sears tower, specifically its wave wall.
