Abysmal service after booking the move and receiving payment.Hollander lost track of our shipment for several days. It was unable to tell us where it was and when it would arrive.It finally arrived three days late.Now United Customer Service has not responded to requests for how to secure compensation for late delivery that was promised by Hollander.I cannot believe that this is a logistics company.

What an awful, disorganized mess. My neighbors hired them to move a 2nd-floor, 3-bedroom apartment. A huge crew showed up, maskless, and proceeded to while away the day as if they didn't have a care in the world, leaving my neighbors' furniture sitting on the parkway while they went off to have lunch, blocking a narrow street without bothering to direct traffic, making tasteless jokes about items like walkers - all instead of doing what they were paid for, which was to quickly and safely move furniture. I've never seen such a lazy, disorganized group of amateurs. My neighbor was literally in tears. College kids would have done a better job.

Tell you everything and gives you nothing. The ONLY saving grace was Tony and his moving team. Run and find another company. Promise so many things in writing and still won't honor what they said. Cost more money because they didn't stand behind their promises

What can I say?!? First the loading and unloading of our belongings was flawless. It's the packing I have a MAJOR issue with. We moved from Chicago to Irvine CA, having the movers pack our stuff prior to the move. The packers literally took everything out of drawers (when they could have shrink wrapped the furniture) and wrapped everything...even a single straw, underwear, jewelry, paperback books in packing paper! EVERYTHING!!! My mother's jewelry they put in wrapping paper, was all a jumbled mess which still cannot be untangled. We were incensed with anger as we unpacked after our move. I was personally so angry, I literally wanted to throw the remaining unpacked stuff away. We still have things 3 weeks later we will not unpack until we move again next year. I complained to Jeff, who is the director of the moving company, and although he did arrange to have someone local come and take our used boxes and packing paper, it just was not enough for the aggravation we experienced. I would never use this company again--EVER!, just for the sheer fact of how they packed. I have moved a lot in my life, and this has to be the worst moving experience I have ever had! Do not use Hollander, especially if you want them to pack, they will wrap you in packing paper if you are careful. AVOID, AVOID!!! Did I say not use them?!? Don't do it for your own peace of mind. UPDATE 7/25/21So....the owner of the business (Bob) responds and zeros in on one word in my review (flawless) which was not the overall case and only referred to the loading and the unloading, definitely not the packing which is also a huge part of the moving process. Yes, we received a credit for the weight of our move being less than it was when we got the quote. 3 weeks later, and my mother still cannot untangle the mess of her necklaces, which should have been left in her jewelry case, wrapped in shrink wrap, then moved. Again, thanks Bob for the non-answer and unsympathetic tone of your response. I know at the end of the day, it's all about $$$$ for you and your organization. Bad PR Dude. Bad PR. I will tell everyone I know not to use your company.

They were very professional, responsive, organized and pleasant to work with. They moved us out of our old house, held onto our belongings for 3 weeks and then brought our stuff across state lines. They got us all moved into our new home and put all of our furniture back together. They also required a smaller truck to unload our stuff, because of our incredibly long drive way, and handled it all for us!Rebecca (coordinator), Chris (estimator) and Tony (driver) were all excellent and I would highly recommend them and use them again!

I used this company to move out of my lovely home. A virtual view was conducted and a contract was signed. Every detail of the contract was NOT explained. I didn't know there was variations of coverage if damage if your property occurs. A $3000, Jeffrey Breslow sculptor was Broken. I was offered the max of $100. Not only were we extremely nice to the movers buying water and pizza and giving very nice Thomasville Furniture. This is how I was treated by the company. The explanation of you didn't purchase the higher level of coverage. You move from a over $400,000 home and no one explains the coverage. Beware!!!

Stay away, if you care about your items. Estimation process was easy. Price was reasonable. Issues started at delivery. Driver arrived at location understaffed. They even tried to deliver a box that belonged to the previous customer. Items were delivered to a storage unit. An expensive item was damaged and I found out about it when I was moving it out of storage couple of weeks after. Seems like item was broken as the workers were stacking items in storage because the glass fell out the minute it was moved. Because they knew that I was moving again, they tried to push the blame to the other moving company eventhough I have evidentary documention (pictures and affidavits) that the other company did not touch the item. Bait and switch.

Called on Monday to set up availability 2 weeks in advance of our desired moving date. We were told they were available, and that we would be called by Kevin for a video tour of our furniture/belongings. Kevin was 30 minutes late to the call, and it ended up just being a 10 minute phone-call where we verbally listed our furniture. Not sure why we had to wait 2 days for that! We were sent an invoice with an estimated price, and told we would be called the next day to confirm everything and handle payment. This morning, Kevin texted us to let us know they are booked through August 4th. Very unprofessional to drag us along for 4 days! We are unsure how they were available Wednesday night for the 27th, and by Thursday morning were booked through the 4th. Not our problem though, moving on to a more reliable company!

Even though it's been 2 1/2 years since we moved from Chicago to Vegas, we had our furniture and belongings in storage since we were staying with relatives. The actual move was very unprofessional and cost us over $10,000. The individuals they had helping unload our things into the storage unit seemed to be people from off the street and everything was totally disorganized. We have finally moved into our own home and have been finding out we're missing boxes off kitchen appliances and miscellaneous items. These things could have been left in the truck since it was mixed with another client's move. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They never did anything when we told them about the quality of their workers and the disorganization.

We have used Hollander 1) to downsize from a large house to an apartment, which included storing some things & sending others out of state - all smoothly & with no breakage; 2) to handle a move from south Florida to Chicago, & most recently, 3) to move some but not all of the things stored from move #1. The move coordinators are terrific, everything happens when & as promised & the movers are creative & careful - I could not recommend them more highly!

recently terminated my contract with them. they are dirt and bad neighbors : don't shovel in winter not collect a bit of litter year round. decades of being bad people. hear they are closing. thank goodness. this is logan sq are fullerton and milwaukee.

Last month, I was searched for moving companies and submitted a request for a moving quote. Many movers called and provided me quotes, but most of the estimates which I received was pretty vague. Then I got a call from Hollander International Storage & Moving Company and the Surveyor Allen explained to me in detail every aspect of the moving process. I am so glad about the services provided by the customer care, dispatch team, and operation department. The entire team of the moving company was courteous and listened to all my concerns. I highly recommend Hollander International Storage & Moving Company for stress-free move!!!

I would surely use these guys again as they were very efficient and courteous. They took care of the moving job right away. I would recommend this moving company to all my family members and friends. If you are moving or need something to move, I suggest to give them a call.
