Product was fine and pricing is good but the woman working the online pick up area today (at 1:30pm) was flat out rude. I will never order online pick up again, just have it delivered.

I came here on the evening of 2/13 to exchange a can of stain for a different color, exact same price and brand, and I can't believe such a hassle came from such a simple transaction. The returns associate scanned my receipt and said it wouldn't come up in the system. So they scan my credit card and that doesn't work, either. The associate then tried to deny me the return and even found it reasonable to suggest that I go to a different home depot to see if they could do it. Are you serious? When I asked if I could just take the new stain and have them figure it out on their own time, the associate condescendingly told me "it doesn't work that way" and proceeded to lecture me about skus and inventory as if that's supposed to be my problem, or a valid excuse as to why they can't grab the same item from the floor and process the transaction when the system is working. At this point I asked for a manager, and the associate replied that he would just tell me the same thing, but ok. Manager took forever and had to be called twice, and as soon as he came up, he just said, "Why not process it as a no receipt return?" Looks like he didn't "tell me the same thing." Associate really stood there acting like I was the one giving them a hard time, as if I was supposed to accept being stuck with the wrong stain for my project despite having a valid receipt, and wasting a trip for nothing. Manager didn't even look at me, let alone apologize for the hassle caused by his clueless employee acting like they knew everything and wasting my time. Horrible experience, I have been here many times and will never go back to any Home Depot after this.

I don't love the self checkout. Most of the time you need help from staff during checkout. The staff is great though.

The hot dog stand they have inside their store swiped and duplicated my card (this was verified by my bank). Called home depot they said that has nothing to do with them- probably right but also they are clearly leasing to a fraudulent business

Customer service did not want to price match a dewalt construction jack that’s priced lower from a local retailer. They said they only price match Menards which Menards does not carry dewalt. Home Depot website states otherwise “If you find a current lower price on an identical, in-stock item from any other retailer, we will match the price. Just bring the ad, printout or photo with you to the register for validation. (This may involve the associate contacting the competitor).” Bad business

I practically lived in this store when we were finishing the house. As many as 3x a day, it seemed, and the staff got me in and out quickly. Almost never a wait, and they will come up and help get you out quickly at checkout.
Looking for someone on the floor can be tough sometimes. If you don't need a major department item, good luck flagging someone.

I just was here. The lady in the painting desk called someone twice. She had to get a manager because the associate was talking to another coworker and ignored her pages. We wanted 2 vanities, and they had 2 in stock, but they could only find one. We rented a truck they knew we needed assistance loading, but of course, we had to wait, and we when you rent a truck, the time starts when you swap your card. I asked an associate in the rental truck area if they can call the North Ave location to see if they can get the vanity ready, but he said that they don't respond back. So basically, each store lacks communication between them.

Although I enjoy the veteran discount, Home Depot is failing me once again. As a contractor who builds and services ponds, Home Depot will no longer carry pond related items in the stores. I can order the items and have them delivered to the store. In my business, I go to them for pond pumps and other pond supplies. Since I need it when I go in, I'm not willing to wait a day or two, so I will go to Lowe's or Menards as they still carry those supplies in store. If I'm going to wait a day or two, I can order from my pond supplier and have it delivered within 24 hours.
