This place always has big line and I hate to buy from it and every time I go there to buy something I had to wait at least 10-15 minutes to check out and sometimes I had to leave without buying and I had to go somewhere else , plus it's too hard to find a cart . Honestly I'm not sure how people still come to this place to buy .

I went here last night with my husband to get a few items before closing. We were helped by a gentleman by the name of Derrell. He worked in the Paint section. He was patient and very informative when helping us decide on which tools and type of paint to use for our home. He educated us on which types of paint would fit in each rooms based on the different kinds/textures. He made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend returning here.

It was the busiest I've ever seen a Home Depot when I came. Pro line was down & everybody had to make phone calls for payments for some reason. Staff service was ok, but employees were sparse so there was not enough to help everyone. They have most of the standard items in stock, but anything outiside of the norm (like 1-1/4" foam pipe insulation in my case) was missing. Because of all of the issues the check-out line was long. It took almost an hour just to get checked out which was frustrating.

I am avid gardener. The 87th store is the only store that has plants outside with no carts and no dedicated cash register. The garden door was closed for the entire season. The inside section is often unattended with no one to help with soil or mulch. The plant section has a damp dank smell due to over watering and no ventilation. I drive to other Home Depot stores that are more accommodating. I hate to see plant dept suffer because of lack of staffing and accommodation.

AWFUL SERVICE. I visited the 200 W. 87th store to purchase 20 pieces of wood trim. The trim needed to be cut in the store and I was told that "I had to do so myself", in the store. I was stunned and could not believe that a store would risk the safety of its customers and also risk an insurance liability within the store. I immediately left without making a purchase. If this is a store policy, I will NEVER shop at Home Depot again. Why would a store provide a cutting station along with a hand saw for customer use. Unbelievable.

I couldn't believe the treatment at the register. I told the lady I needed some bags she told me that they were 7 cent a bag obviously needed 3 bags she charged me for one bag and then had to recharge me for 2 additional bags. Then she did not want to put the items in the bag as if something was wrong with them. They lost my Want to future purchase anything here.

Like everyone said don't waste your time they are very useless people especially the manager in electrics are he doesn't even have his uniform on I had to guess that he worked there

Bunch of retards. All I'm going to say. Don't have anymore time for them. Go to another location and save yourself the aggravation before you get your project started since that can be a pain in itself lol.

Ordered storm doors and had installed a month ago... they did a HORRIBLE job installing the front door and I have been trying to get this rectified since then! The door drags the ground and it doesn't close flush to the frame! The side door was installed well , lock on top, door knob underneath, the fro t door has the door knob on top and lock on bottom! They have reneged on 2 appts, this far (NO SHOW) on having this corrected! DO NOT have your doors serviced here!

please, I beg you, with how crowded this store gets, there is no way to social distance here, so please wear the mask over the mouth and nose, and not on your chin. It serves no purpose on the chin. I went in today, and 3 employees had masks on the chin or neck, and not over the mouth. About half of the other employees I saw only wore them over the mouth. Nobody bothers to tell customers to put a mask on. This place is prime breeding ground for Covid-19. I gave the store 3 stars because the location is extremely convenient, and the other half of employees wearing face masks properly deserve a thumbs up.

I work with Roadie. I usually have slow and terrible experiences at most Home Depot locations. Though, not this time. The Customer Service Representative Beth was fast, friendly, and very informative. They need more people like her.

I finally had a great experience with Home Depot after shopping at this location for years! The Customer Service Representative Shawnta Finley was not only knowledgeable, but helpful and friendly......please hire more people like her

You want to trust that Home Depot will provide you with a honest and skilled contractor when you reach out to them for these resources. However, that's not always the case. My cousin hired a contractor, A-Reliable Craftsmen, owner Curtis Batiste to lift his front porch/stairs, stabilize the front porch handrails (because they had become loose and wobbled), and a few other items. Mr. Batiste, poured cement in the handrail holes, and told my cousin to let it cure for 30 days. 30 days later, upon his return he found that the rails were still loose. When my cousin asked how was he going to fix the problem, Mr. Batiste asked him for additional money to repair. Mind you that my cousin is Blind. This contractor is dishonest and took advantage of a disable person. If I could give him and Home Depot a zero, I would. Do Better Home Depot. Protect your customers.

I purchased a freezer less Frigidaire refrigerator that stopped cooling before 40 days. I called to return the unit and was told that I would have to pay a restocking fee of $100 for a bad product! It seems to any reasonable person, to make the manufacture of the product and not the customer pay the restocking fee. It's not as if I did not like the refrigerator, it just stopped working and I have been without a refrigerator for several weeks now. I keep going back and forth with the protection plan provided by Home Depot and they said not their problem, I fall under the manufacture that does not care about you once you spend your money. I will never buy another major appliance from Home Depot again! I will never buy and neither should you a Frigidaire major appliance as you can never get past the customer service personal that cannot make a decision other than what's written on paper. I can't buy eggs, milk, fruit and veggies that need to in a refrigerator. The most horrible experience one that is not well can go through. I'm sure my blood pressure is up and I have gained several pounds from eating out everyday!! All of the food I had went bad and I can't get a refund from asurion until the refrigerators fixed! Crazy! Never please, never buy a Frigidaire freezer less fridge and never use Home Depot expect for buying paint and lumber!
