I love this venue! Not only is it outside, but it’s by the water and set with a beautiful view of downtown!!! The sound here is amazing. Security was pretty chill and smiling, we were at a reggae show. The only thing i do not like is the lack of shade ANYWHERE!!!!! It gets hot so be prepared. Parking is a bit jacked and it’s a walk but it’s all worth it. Backstage if you ever get lucky enough to get there is really awesome! The food area is super chill and felt fancy.

While this place has really good music come through, the venue is disappointing to me. The seating set up has made all the concerts I’ve attended uncomfortable. The seats are plastic folding chairs zip tied together that it feels like everyone is practically on top of eachother since the seats are so close. If I’m paying for a seat I want to at least have some room for my body and personal space.Besides that the sound is ok, bathrooms are tidy and they have good food vendors, though pricey. One thing to keep in mind that leaving the venue is kind of a disaster since uber/taxi/lyft can’t really easily pick you up at the venue. Expect to walk to the museum campus to even dream of getting picked up. There’s busses that can pick you up nearby but they’re always full. I would either park at the venue (I think parking was $20) or you could take a detour and walk along the lakefront by the shedd aquarium for a night time stroll to get picked up elsewhere. Parking was worth it to me the last time because Ubers were so expensive and the wait was too. With the parking situation I was able to leave relatively easily once I made it out of the crowded venue.

I saw Nile Rodgers & Chic, Bastille and the amazing Duran Duran. The seats were great, the sound system was AMAZING and the staff was great! Definitely my go to place for live music now on.

Cool venue. I paid for parking in advance and it was easy to get there. The seats could be labeled better and the stands have very steep stairs on the back sides, front stairs were sticky and if you have on a duster or maxi skirt it sticks to the ground. Pretty clean otherwise. They had an espresso vendor. Sound was good.

Venus is alright. It’s outdoor so during the summer expect it to be SCORCHING hot. They don’t allow confetti from artists. When I went to a concert recently in August the line was SO unorganized. Took about an hour to get in just to find out when we’re at the end if you have no bag there’s a no bag express lane where you get right in.. Ridiculous. They only tell you about the line at the END.I went to Harry Styles concert and was let in immediately. There was no reason for the line to be this ridiculous. Watch out for the people line jumping.Place is FULL of liquor options. That’s great but during a heat wave?? I need water, not liquor. Refill water stations were not cold, sometimes not working, and a long walk from your seats.Food is alright but a little pricey (as is all concert food). Come early if you want the good food or it’ll run out.My seats were fine bc they were elevated on a platform, but the people in-front of me were all sitting down on the chairs placed on the ground. Meaning if someone tall was sitting in front of you? Good luck.Trying to get out was ridiculous as well. It was a crowd of people walking very slowly and stopping in the middle of the pavement. There was no one directing people to move or where to go.

You should see a concert at Northerly Island! I avoided this venue for years because of stories I heard about when it first opened- like a rainy concert where everyone ended up in a literal mud pit. Well, things have changed, and this is an amazing venue with amazing views of Lake Michigan in one direction and the city in the other. I will definitely be coming here a lot now. We purchased VIP seating, which comes with quicker entrance and quicker access to drinks and the bathrooms. I’m not quite sure if it’s worth the extra $100, but I’ll find out when I have a general seating ticket in the future! Oh! we went to this concert by boat via Burnham Harbor and that was extra cool with zero traffic ?

Outside an event that REALLY upset me and killed my mood after I was having a great time, I would give this place a great review. However, when I pay lots of money for VIP box seats, I do not expect to have other people in my seats. We could have resolved this quickly and easily if it had been handled appropriately with the staff without me having to fight to keep the seats we PAID for or the people would have gotten up. When we arrived, there were 6 people in our box that we paid to have for ourselves and seats a max of four people. I repeatedly asked to see their tickets because I showed them mine to prove that they were sitting in my seats. When they wouldn't show their tickets nor move, we got an attendant. The attendant told us at least 10 times they were ushered to OUR SEATS. These people graciously "with much sarcasm" said they were willing to share OUR box with us standing in it. I said I paid for these seats and I want my seat. Then instead of telling these people they have to move, they tried to talk us into moving which I refused. The African American girl who ushered them to OUR seats then had the audacity to say we offered to give up our box seats we paid more than a thousand dollars for which was a complete lie. We had dinner and watched the first few groups at the VIP club, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have our seats available to us when we move to them. This wasn't resolved until the first attendant actually got his supervisor who told those people they had to move. These people apparently wanted handicapped seating and instead of sitting in their own seats or in the actual handicap area, they thought they were entitled to take over our VIP box. By the way, these people were not in wheelchairs or anything like that even though that still would not entitle them to our elevated box seats. They were not going to budge until the supervisor showed up. It was ridiculous and very upsetting all around. Under no circumstances should anyone paying premium prices be asked to vacate their seats. Those people should have gotten up as soon as we showed them they were in our seats. I just can't believe the audacity of them and the staff. I'm glad the supervisor came and finally resolved it, but I shouldn't have to go through all this. Duran Duran and all the other bands were awesome. I wish this situation did not taint the evening.

First show at Huntington Bank Pavilion. Very nice medium large outdoor venue. Went to see Papa and the ghouls of Ghost. We had great seats. Towards the middle of the stage Left section. Little weirded out that the Venue is all "credit" no cash excepted but can get a temporary debit card to convert your dollars. But all in all a great show.Things to consider bring the allowed clear bag, Bring snacks for sugar lows Diabetic or not. Get large H2O you're allowed 1 gallon per person. Good for saving the dollars for merch.

A Huntington Bank Pavilion is a lovely venue for a concert. The pit brings you close and the stage is elevated enough to get a good sidelines without straining your neck. The stage itself… Lighting sound speakers is terrific…My only observation is that the exit process is very very inefficient… 10,000 people all leaving to a very narrow exit gate requires a very slow long walk late at nightVenu staff was attentive and helpful throughout. I would definitely see a show at this venue again.

Very cool! The views of the city and the lake from here are great. Signage for the entrance could have been much better. Nice a/c bathrooms. The area we were sitting in was a bit away from the stage and I think because of that (and maybe the wind?) the sound seemed to go in and out sometimes to me and my group.

A beautiful place to have a venue. The Beach is behind as well as the Shead Aquarium. The skyline is your backdrop. The only issue is parking if you don't get there early enough to park in a realistically small parking lot. Which is 40 bucks. Than good luck. Most people walk from the train like you do going to soldier field. But this is at least another 20 min walk farther. No busses or trolleys to take back . There is the guys on the bike that can take like 3 people. I think it's like 30 bucks. Has food and decent drink options. Lots of those little green bugs as the night progresses.

All I can say is wow I was a bit nervous going into the city for the sad summer festival in July 2023, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the ease to park and the beautiful scenery and excellent set up for music festivals. I will definitely be back.
