Avoid this bank branch and go to a different location. My awful experience started when I called this location months ago to establish an account and was passed to a bankers extension. I left a voicemail and never was called back. I called again, was passed to the same bankers line. Left a message and again was never called. I had to escalate the issue to a manager and was finally able to establish an account. But that's nothing to how I was treated last month when I went to deposit bonds, which I had done before at this branch, and was told they couldn't do it for me even though I had done so with the branch manager previously. I went into the branch and was told I needed to contact the federal reserve to take care of my bonds. After doing so and learning that any bank would be good to deposit the bonds. I called the branch back and explained there was no reason they shouldn't deposit them and I wanted to come in but the teller said the same thing they cannot deposit them. While i was explaining what the fed had told me, the banker that I have had a bad experience with before grabbed the phone from the teller and said my name and we are not going to deposit these for you and I'm sorry but we are done and hung up the phone on me. I called immediately back and asked for the manager and was told he was on vacation and when I asked when he would be back I was told he couldn't tell me that information but would relay that to the manager to receive a follow up. No follow up. Now what makes this even worse is I went to a different Huntington location and they fulfilled my request to deposit the bonds with no issues or bad service. I work in financial customer service and this treatment is unacceptable in any service. I'm not saying Huntington is the issue but the employees I've worked with here need to start thinking of the customer and how to help vs being combative and dismissive. At this point it doesn't matter for me since I found a new branch, but I need others to know how poorly I was treated here from minute one.

Only bank I've had a problem with, let alone constant problems and more often than not no access to funds for "maintenance

We had our accounts in bridged over from TCF. I had a situation where there was a fraudulent charge and I had to close my account and open a new one. The first step was freezing the account because I did not have time to open a new one right then in there, and Hector F. Helped through everything. I really appreciate his patience, knowledge, and kindness. This branch is amazing, my favorite. Huntington is definitely a huge step up from TCF. They really do have it all. Thank you again Hector!

The incompetence of Huntington Bank is breathtaking. A constant runaround where you can't get any answers, or at least no correct answers, to execute transactions that should be drop dead simple. I'm still waiting to speak with someone who knows how their own system works.

I have had the absolute worst experience with this bank. I had a car loan and after it was paid off, they gave me a multitude of reasons (all their bureaucratic red tape) that I could not have a payoff letter for 2 weeks. I was trading the car in and needed the pay-off letter ASAP. They assured me that the letter would go out on a particular day and I asked them to please fed-ex the pay-off letter to me via overnight delivery. I supplied them with my own fed-ex number so I was paying for them to do this. Not only did they not do this, but they told me that there is no copy of my payoff letter or title in any of their records. That the person who I provided my fed-ex number to, sent the request to a department that takes 4 days to respond. So I have no title, no pay-off letter and no way to trade the car in. Each time I contact the bank they point fingers at a different department with no solutions. Stay away. I will be closing my account there.
