We get our groceries here every week. The produce is great and so cheap compared to similar nearby alternatives. Some of the other stuff is pricier, so it's good to mix and match stores.

Really great place for fresh vegetables and fruits with lots of varieties. Price is very reasonable compared to other places around. Free parking too.

Great produce and good selection for a neighborhood local market! Hot food and sandwiches for lunch.

Too expensive. Hot food is okay, not very flavorful. Many food items are not marked or the shelf below the item does not show the price.

Great store. I live in the area so i come here often. I love the variety of things that they have. Not sure if it’s family owned but the customer service is something that needs to be worked on. For the most part all of the cashiers have terrible customer service skills. One in particular, i went in today around noon and there’s a short girl (Hispanic) with glasses..i stood in her lane waiting to check out and she didn’t acknowledge me once. She continued wiping and never asked me to wait or anything. I asked if she was open and she said yeah and continued wiping, so i stepped to the other lane and she of course took the lady that came after me. Maybe teach the workers better customer service skills. I always acknowledge my guest no matter if I’m busy or not.

Small, huuuugely ((overpriced)) local grocer. 4 stars bc they were the only shop in town w tarragon. WF and TJ’s didn’t have it. Their meat section is v small. A pineapple was $5. A gallon of apple cider was $11+. The workers there were v friendly. The gal who answered the phone when I called to ask confirmed that it was in the produce section, and everyone we interacted with in the store to find it was cool and easy. The tarragon was $14/lb, just fyi. I def wouldn’t make this a regular stop by any means, unless I needed something that they specifically/only have. Like tarragon. Big free parking lot that’s got a Hunger Games kinda entrance procedure. Once you’re in, though, it’s Gucci.

I bought a Lactose free milk here last week, promptly refrigerated . Whe I went to open oit this week it was swollen and on opening smelled awful. The man who the cashier said was the manager this morning at 8:20 asked if I had kept it out of the fridge, dismissed me with a hand wave and left.I doubt he was rthe manager. I had been a satisfied customer for years.

I just love Hyde Park Produce! What I really appreciate about them is that they're a family-owned business. You can chat with Larry or any of the family members right on the store floor - they're always happy to help. The staff are super friendly and know their stuff, which makes shopping there a joy. Plus, the produce is always fresh and top-quality, and their deli is just amazing! With all the big chain stores around, it's so great to have HHP nearby. Thanks for delivering such great service!
