I saw these products at an art fair prior to visiting the shop. Wonderfully curated, so many unique gifts, and overall such a fun place to pop into if you're out and browsing and/or want to find something distinctive with personality for yourself or someone in your life!

This shop is so wonderfully curated, so many unique gifts. A lot of the ‘local’ gift shops have become copy/paste with the same inventory but Inkling has stayed unique and always has fresh and special finds. My fave shop in Chicago!

My shopping experience in this business was very pleasant! The owner did a wonderful job making me feel welcome, and provided great customer service. Gift wrapping skills are on point at this shop.

I've been here numerous times throughout the years and now that I physically live in Lakeview I did end up coming here much more frequently and always accompanied by my beautiful Great pyrenees. My most recent purchases were the adorable animal ceramic planters that the owner makes herself and they come with complimentary air plants which I think are a great match. I've bought kitchen towels, lip gloss, a cute vintage candy dish and lots of sage and incense. I've always found the staff here to be very sweet and anxious to help but whenever the owner herself helps I definitely felt like my business here wasn't welcomed. The last time I walked in here with the intention of purchasing more incense but the owner confronted me asking me if my pyrenees was on his leash because if he wasn't it would be problematic. In all the thirty plus years I've owned mountain dogs; not once have I ever not used an appropriate collar and leash. I thought her question was insulting, combative and bizarre. She said lately her guests walk into her store with pets without any leash especially a woman who owns a pomeranian. I do agree with the owner that no one walking in here should have an unleashed pet; but I've always been a respectful and responsible pet owner and my dog is extremely sweet and well behaved. I just don't feel welcomed here as a shopper; it's clear the owner doesn't like me very much so I won't continue coming in here regardless of the nice finds. This is mainly a gift shop so perhaps you will have a positive shopping experience but I will cross this shop off my list moving forward.

I've bought so many items from this location from incense to sage and cute ceramic animals filled with air plants.Unfortunately I will never return here under any condition because the owner herself is always irritable and unpleasant to me.This afternoon I intended to shop for incense again when the owner asked me If my pyrenees was leashed. I never wall my pyrenees anywhere under any circumstances without his leash and collar and she knows him and my dog never acted put in her shop nor was he rude to other people or other dogs in her store.I told her my dog is always on a leash and she said she is currently having issues with people bringing their unleashed pets especially pomeranian dogs into her shop without a leash which is problematic.Her other staff members were always so communicative and upbeat buy the owner of this shop has been abrasive with me so I don't personally recommend her shop nor would I feel comfortable stepping inside to browse or shop here.It's not professional to take out your bad vibes to your paying guests.

I'm going to have an affinity for this place now bc I randomly stopped into today and Radiohead's Jigsaw Falling Into Place started playing, which is me and my partner's song ❤️ welcoming vibe, cute/unique collection of items to peruse. I got some fun little gifts so I would definitely recommend for the upcoming holiday season or just when you want to treat yourself/someone else special

I love this store! So many cute cards and knick-knacks. I found the staff to be super warm and welcoming. I always bring friends here when they are visiting from out of town. A crowd pleaser :)
