Love their stuff, but I have to say. I bought a swimming suit from them and on the third wash it completely faded and changed colors. Very disappointing as it was beautiful hunter Green before it faded. Also, when I picked up my order, the woman never offered for me to try on my order and didn't even ask for an ID. At their prices this was very disturbing.

This review is a shout-out to Theo. He was extremely helpful and kind, super thorough and genuine. I came in with a vision and he helped pick out the perfect pieces. Thanks Theo!!!!

Elliot is always the most genuine and helpful dude I've ever dealt with at any clothing store ever, and it seems that everyone else there follows his lead. I avoid shopping in person because usually sucks but this jcrew is the exception. Thanks as always!

They were out of the size I needed so the jr staffer helped me find it in another store. Then the manager, who was exceptionally rude, told her not to help me and I ended up out of luck. This is the total opposite of how most stores and companies operate in general. The management at this store specifically is absolutely dreadful and this is not the experience I've generally had at other versions of their store. Avoid.

Don't buy stuff off their website. They now carry clothing from other companies and don't allow returns in store nor are they able to provide with any information on how to make a return. You have to pay for shipping after hunting down these companies on Google.

I came in to buy a suit on Tuesday but you never put my pants into the bag! Never coming back to this location. You ruined this wedding for me.

Not as great a selection as I remember from larger stores in the suburbs.

The J Crew location on Southport is quite a disappointment to me as a very long time customer of this brand. When I walked in the store, it's like the atmosphere immediately shifted. I consider myself a fairly tall, well dressed, courteous, female adult. However, the usual greeting that I have received at other stores was totally absent at the J Crew Southport location. In fact, the cashier seemed to take it personally that I requested a paper receipt and proceeded to dangle it mid-air as if she was afraid that our fingers might touch. What poor customer service here. The employees who were there today could use a lot more customer service & diversity training. I'm sure that J Crew would not want to be represented in this way.

I will not shop at J.Crew anymore. My family and I have spent thousands of dollars into the J.Crew company and because I cannot produce a proof of purchase they will not credit me for a poorly made shirt. The pattern on the shirt faded prematurely. Now I can’t wear the shirt because it’s ruined. I’ve never had a problem returning items at any of the other stores I shop at. I rarely return anything. J.Crew needs an internal audit at this clearly deceptive practice of poor customer service. I spent $60 on a shirt I’ve worn maybe 7-8 times? I think the return policy should be upgraded because clearly a shirt that is poorly made should be credited. The shirt says J Crew on it, I guess that’s where the customer experience stops for them.

Please head to this particular branch of J Crew for untiring sales staff. The staff seems really committed and definitely go out of their way to make a customer feel wanted. I had the pleasure of meeting Tammy who is most enthusiastic about pulling out different designs and sizes .. she zips around the store as though on wheels.. and was wonderful to have around…I can’t thank you enough Tammy…

I felt discriminated against the moment I walked through the door. Encountered multiple Caucasian women greeting and helping others. The moment I asked for assistance, I felt rushed and not welcomed. Although there is a wonderful African-American male who assisted me at the register who made a difference.
