This gallery was exquisite. Of the abundance of art galleries in Chicago, during my visit, I would have to say , this is one of my favorites. The staff is very polite, the host is very knowledgeable of the art that is being displayed, the building is well kept, and the art is very well selected. Many galleries are a hole in the wall location with good art or very nice locations but all they display is overpriced scribbles on canvas and call it fine art. This location is a nice location with very nice art being displayed from a range of artists that have art priced for all budgets . Highly recommend when visiting Chicago.

Have had several prints as well as original paintings framed here, it's a great framing shop as well as art gallery. The quality of the glass and frames here is top notch, just keep in mind that good quality framing isn't exactly cheap, but worth it in my opinion if you want a piece to last a lifetime.

I had a print that I needed to frame and hang but was not sure where I can get it done. I've drove past Jackson Junge a few times and never knew that offer custom framing. I sent a request to JJG and had an idea on how I wanted the framing to look like. I submitted some generic info such as sizing and dimensions. I got a quick response back from Ms. Miller (Kaitlyn). the quote was reasonable but she wanted to make sure I bring in the art to really show me what it will look like. Following week, I brought in the print, her team was able to match up the mats and frame I needed. I was able to use the Groupon which reduced the price which made this project a really great deal. I would highly recommend Jackson Junge Gallery to everyone who wants their favorite arts to be showcased. They also have great selections of art for sale also.

The exhibit was called On a Sheet of Ice, a Flower, by Crystal Hartman. We don't live anywhere in the area but wanted to check out this gallery. I feel like I came here with a friend years ago. We missed a few events recently and wanted to see what was what. They sell other art here too, (prints, wall art, etc.) we got a cute pair of earrings. Like many openings, there were libations, but this one had a donation suggestion, with Venmo! We chatted with the artist for a bit, which can add to the experience. Since I have not purchased or invested in art from here, I will go with 4 stars for now.

Not only is there a diverse selection of artists to enjoy but also a fantastic framing shop in back. You get assistance from very knowledgeable individuals who will take the very best care of your artwork or photograph. If you don't know what you want, they can help you. If you know exactly what you want, they can help, too. Strongly recommended!

I own multiple prints from Laura Lee Junge. I've framed some of the prints myself, framed some of it in-house with Jackson Junge, and framed art I've bought elsewhere there. I've also purchased prints and other items (such as cards, puzzles, and a history of wicker park written by a local) as gifts. The staff is incredibly kind and collaborative -- they've helped me choose mattes, choose frames, and choose a birthday gift for my grandpa (one that included additional elements from other local stores). I trust their design sense and I enjoy working with them.

Art on the wall (about 100 pieces in their new show) had no information regarding the artists. I asked if they had a list of artists. The employee proceeded to tell me about the show and how many artists they have. No information on the artists. I wanted to know who the artists are, so I can learn about them and familiarize myself with more of their work. After asking for the 3rd time, I found out that they don't even have the list of the artists. They were "in the process" of making it. I was told to come back for the opening. This is the first time that I visited a gallery with no information on the artists. What a disservice to people making art.The art was lovely. Would have loved to know who it was made by.
