I like shopping at the Ford City location. However, can someone please tell me why the doors near the customer service area for returns and exchanges are now closed? This is a huge inconvenience especially for older customers and customers with disabilities. We should not have to walk through the entire store just to pick up, exchange, or return items. You should either open a customer service area near the front entrance or reopen the door near customer service. Thank you.

Nice place. I went for a store pickup. No curbside pickup available at this store. You have to walk through store for online pickups. It’s a really nice store. No Sephora inside of JCPenney stores anymore but they do have their own beauty department.

To whom it may concern My name is lisa jackson, and I visited Jcpenney with my husband on 12-1 at 4:00 to do a little shopping. Upon entering, I see there were a lot of people in the store . I did a little shopping and picked up more items than what I can carry so I asked four different people where can I locate a cart the cashiers and the people that I asked was nice about it they said if it's not in the beginning of the entry or in the back that there was none because there was so many people in the store so I grab one of the employees carts that they put items back or hang up. so my husband and i get over to the Christmas ornament section a heavyset white lady that works there she started following me and my husband towards the back of the entry of the Christmas ornaments and on my right there was a white man with black pants looking like we stole something so as I goes towards the front and I looked at him and said oh can I purchase my items here he says yes next thing I know the white gentleman looked at me and said that cart you are not supposed to have. I let him know that there were no more carts in the store, and I got the best thing to carry my items. The white heavy set lady and the white gentleman thought me and my husband was stealing but as I got to the register, I asked him if I could purchase my items here so they could see that we weren't stealing the white gentleman say well that's why you supposed to ask somebody I looked at him and said well I asked four different people and they all said that the carts was taken he was really upset that I had this cart I had about $300 dollars worth of items in the cart I asked him if I was white would you be bold enough to come and tell me that he said sure we'll I said its a white lady over there by the men's section and she has a cart like mine now go tell her that she can't have that cart and go tell that white lady same things you said to me he turns around and said something smart . so when I said I was going to write in and see why do you all guys don't have enough carts in the store when there's a lot of people in the store because this man seems to have a problem with black people . For the cashier assoc 0723 and that white man that was working with you that was following me and my husband around, I know you felt embarrassed when we purchased over $300 worth of items, and we Black.
