I've worked in customer service all my life and this is one of the worst Jewel Oscos in the surrounding location. The employees' customer service- especially behind the meat counter and at the registers are atrocious. They will see you waiting at the counter and will ignore you until they are 100% done with their previous task (which should obviously be done in the downtime when they don't have customers like cleaning)- which can take up to 20 minutes for a process that shouldn't take over 5 minutes. Baggers will overload your bags until they rip and then give you attitude for grabbing another one, practically yelling at you to pay for 7¢ like it comes out of their paycheck personally, like they weren't the one who overloaded the bag. Customer service representatives will refuse to help you especially concerning coupons on the app. These workers are pushing their misery onto the customers and if it weren't for the convenient location and self check out I would never go back.

I have had the most fabulous set of experiences at the pharmacy. The Tech, Michael is wonderful!! He is kind, courteous, helpful, conscientious, and cheerful. He seems to really care about the customers(patients and their caregivers). Just thinking about his professionalism makes me smile. Octavia is most helpful and cheerful as well. Again, I am most grateful for the excellent service!!! Thank you. Carry-on.

This is the store that doesn't allow their cashiers to have water at the register. Shameful. They claim it's company policy, but that's not true. Other stores allow their cashiers to have water. As a long time customer of Jewel-Osco, this is definitely disturbing!

The lead pharmacist here Octavia is so amazing. I have to say that I only go to this pharmacy because it’s so close to home. 95% of the staff is unwelcoming, rude, short and condescending. I struggled for MONTHSSSSS trying to get them to order a specific prescription for my birth control and I would continuously get the red light from everyone or ignored. The first time I spoke with Octavia was all I needed for her to be my contact person. Anytime I need my BC refilled she’s who I ask for because she seems to be the only person who wishes to help. I have a new prescription that I take and I was unsure of how to take it (it’s an injectable) she made sure to take me to the private room and show me exactly how to do it. She also provided a few masks/shields for me to share with my family. I came back the next month for my refill, she happened to be there and asked me how I was doing with the injectable meds and how I was feeling with it, mind you she asked before I even provided my info. It felt very nice to be remembered and helped. I have to say that if she was the only worker here she’s get a 5 but I believe me, these 4 stars I gave are hers ALONE. The star missing is cuz the rest of these ppl need other jobs, ones they actually want. ESP the older white male pharmacist, with his rude self.

I am a customer at jewel/osco at 5320 S. Pulaski for many years. But I have to write this review for the Pharmacy. Went in today to do some shopping and stopped to get my flu shot. From the moment they asked me How they can help me, the ladies named YOLANDA AND ELVIRA made the whole process quick and simple. Please recognize that you have amazing employees who I understand are under alot of stress. Buy them a coffee or a lunch. The pharmacy is truly blessed to have employees like yolanda and elvira. Thank you .

Even before covid, I did not enjoy going to the Jewell off of Foster. After shopping there I've had to stop by another store to get what I needed.Specifically certain sandwich meets and small chocolate milk.They would be out of certain things like the above for weeks at a time and there are certain Jewerll stores I've driven to that have yet to have this problem.Thank you

I overheard my elderly mother trying to check on her prescription status and was shocked to hear a pharmacist named Nick being completely rude with her. He was being short and snooty with her for absolutely no reason. He asked her to clarify one of her questions and put her on hold without any warning. The pharm tech named Dominique was, however, extremely helpful and answered my mother's questions without problem.

There is a pharmacist here who is constantly rude to me. All I want to do is get my medicine but he is always extremely brief and has a condescending tone when I ask follow-up questions. He also tends to put me on hold without warning when I call to check on my prescriptions.I would switch to another pharmacy but I am old and this is the closest location.

The store at Foster and Pulaski is the worst. I only go there when I’m pressed for time. Checkers talking back and forth not acknowledging customers. The only person who talked to me was the bagger. Saw meat packages completely mismarked. I have complained about this location for years and it never changes.

Staff routinely does the bare minimum to ensure not getting fired. Truly abysmal service, it seems likely they are all friends of management :(

Totally inept and have been for years. If you need a prescription filled, be sure to call 3 or 4 times because they do not know what they are doing
