Best service of any pharmacy in the area. The pharmacists have helped me track down products that they don't typically carry and always provide service with kindness and patience. I appreciate it very much.

I come to this Jewel regularly but today I was disgusted! I bought a donut box (12 donuts in a cardboard bakery box) and when I got home I noticed two flies inside the box! I immediately brought it back (before opening the box) and the lady that was working was very sorry and immediately refunded me.

This Bakery went above and Beyond! I believe the girl who helped me was named Olivia and she listened to everything I was looking for, the cookie cakes turned out so well! I did visit the fullerton store and they were so unhelpful they didn't even come out from far behind the counter and tables to even ask what I needed.Thank you Olivia again! I'll definitely be back for another order with you!

They've always been great, I've rarely had to wait, and they are nice. Can't ask for anything more from a pharmacy.

October 27, 2022: MONOPOLY POWER AND RENT-SEEKING PUBLIC EMPLOYEES, LUBRICATION TRANSACTIONS UNDER REVIEW:Recently made a phone order from Lands'End and they followed it up quickly with an Email containing a tracking number to follow the delivery expected date.Compare:Jewel-Osco never admitted how they mailed the controlled substance. Kelly said she would mail it on Friday October 7th. An Email didn't follow with a Tracking Number. But when the Tramadol didn't come by October 12th, Kelly said it went out on October 11th. However, no Email with a tracking number followed the October 11, 2022, at 5:23 pm on Tuesday October 11th or Wednesday October 12th, as is the practice of other customer service retail businesses.A pharmacy, like Osco, has a FIDUCIARY duty held to higher standards and enforceable by law. This is allegedly a violation of administrative controls and failed to sufficiently have internal controls in place, under a federal register to control and distribute prescriptionsAllegedly, Osco breached it's duty of care injuring and harming their customer, dependent on an opioid level 4 drug.I greatly suffered nights of 12 hours or more of radiculopathy and sciatic nerve root pain, contractions, RESTLESS LEG SYNDROME, resulting in excruciating agony as I withdrew from the meds and had no relief from Spinal Stenosis due to Osteoarthritis. I am 84 years old, disabled and use a walker. When the prescription hadn't arrived by Saturday I called Osco again. Maryanne offered me the Tracking Number over the phone with a mistake. She mishandled the transaction and blame me. MOREOctober 23, 2022:Early this morning I received an auto-call from Osco that my prescription for Tramadol was ready to be picked up. The call thereafter vanished from the phone when we hung-up.I then called Osco pharmacy at Southport, but I was told to hold. I waited 5 minutes and no one came back. I hung up and called again. And again I was told to please hold. Once again I waited 2 more minutes and gave up.On the noon hour I called again and the prescription was ready to be picked up.In the store, allegedly Ama verified my address on file; it was correct Then allegedly Sylvia tried to charge me for the lost prescription, which was denied me more than 8 days ago, when I didn't get it in the mail. You have no idea the duress and over-bearing situation I was under without meds for a severe case of Spinal Stenosis, and not sleeping nights due to constricted muscles, narrowing of spinal and sciatic pulls and tugs of nerve roots. The mess-up put me under great stress, pain, radiculopathy and inflammation. Including on October 17, 2022, I caught a viral brain, eyes, (not sinusis), throat, and nose cold for 6 days. I was too weak.USUP and OSCO owe me something for a breach of their FIDUCIARY DUTY, under the common tort of Negligence and the SPOILATION of Evidence (?) And breach of care, label wasn't adhered to the package, or product became loose of the package.**********Now I have to add this to my multiple dentists lawsuit. What a couple of yearsI am without a dentist, and probably a GP Internist's too, who sent an untimely prescription before it was due and even when i told about Osco's allegedly Kelly about it, she still went ahead and mailed it without question. If I got it the next day the med's were early but for my doctor changing my prescription, a lower dose and from a quantity of 300 to 60. No reason was given and he refused to re-order a correct prescription or offer any bed-side manners. He just abandoned me, like Osco did after meds were missing. My Internist is from Northwestern Medicine, Galter Center. See complaint under USPS and Northwestern Medicine (coming)._________________________________October 19, 2022Someone sent my control substance,, working in the pharmacy allegedly, medication by USUP that never arrived and I am in distress, pain and unable to go further. Lost drugs in mail from Ravenswood PO.

Everytime I leave the store, I leave frustrated. Which is crazy, because this is a big store, good selection, and reasonable prices. I want to like it so bad. But I live .5 mile away and walk to the store everytime. When I checkout, the bagging is mind-bafflingly bad.
They always try to get everything into one, double bagged, paper bag. They fill it all the way up to the top. When they can't, they normally put all the heavy things in the first bag (testing whether they can get it all in one bag) and then when they can't, I have one bag full of drinks and cans and one bag with salad and marshmallows. Today, I specifically asked for two different bags, and specifically asked that the two heaviest items be placed in different bags. So the bagger put the two heavy things in separate bags and then ALL THE REST OF THE GROCERIES in ONE of those bags. I just looked at her like, you can't be serious?
Every single time I shop here I have to completely undo their bagging and rebag it. What is the point of having baggers if I have to wait and watch them bag improperly and redo all of it myself?? I have never had any bags rip on my walks home until shopping here. Now it's about 1/4 trips the bags will shred before I get home. So disappointed with lack of such simple service.

Jewel Pharmacy's are normally great, but the one on Southport is absolutely terrible. Avoid going here at all costs!

I'm done with this store. I went to shop for Fathers Day barbecue. Steals were advertised for T-bone and bone in Rib Eye. They had the steaks in a display cooler and they were all priced at regular retail. I asked the meat clerk who was on the sales floor about this, and he told me I needed to buy from full serve counter. He stated the person had not set it up yet and it would be awhile. I questioned the accuracy of his statement and he was very annoyed. I had already put produce and deli items in my cart and I left the cart there and walked out of the store. This is the second time I have had an issue with the meat department. The clerks are really bad at their jobs. They lost a customer and I will not be back. I did go to the Jewel on Broadway and guess what? Plenty of steaks in counter and marked correctly. Plus they got about $100 in liquor purchases from me as well. Southport deserves better, their used to be a manager named Steve who ran a tight ship at the Southport store. Not so much anymore!!
