Terrible service, lies about how long it will take to fill your prescription. They said it would be a 30 minute wait so I went and waited in my car for 30 minutes. Came back in and they told me it would be another hour - as if I had 1.5 hours to spend waiting around. Terrible service, these people clearly have no clue what they are doing.

Low stock and also some self checkout man with old braids and a sassy attitude needs to work on his customer service and not assume every black person is a thief.

I always shop here , only problem is when getting off work from a major hospital located 5 min away, the service desk when a certain worker is there ALWAYS closes at 730pm when it’s supposed to close at 8pm. Food is always fresh, reasonable price and store is always clean but the service desk staff is the reason why I’m not giving 5 stars.

When this store first opened it was great! So many varieties of items that other stores did not have. Now there's empty shelves and lazy workers! My cashier had the longest line with full baskets and she was bagging by herself! Next register over not the express lane had smaller line and fewer items and there was someone helping to bag 3 items! This poor girl...I helped put my own items away. There is a reason some of us don't use self checkout! A woman in front of me was elderly and sitting in one of those carts. Do you know she had to get her own stuff! Breanne (the cashier) was truly awesome and deserves so much better! Keep doing you girl...what gracious youg lady.

The most unkept deli/hot food counter in illinois. When I made mention to the worker that" this Jewel area is never clean when I come in here" her manager was standing right next to her and she pointed to the manager and said this is a you need to speak to. The manager heard our conversation rolled her eyes and backed away

I am resorting to posting as I have had no response from Jewel about this issue. I had a terrible experience with online ordering with the location at 61st and Cottage Grove. I had two items that they claimed were out if stock. My family members would be upset if I did not find those items or something equivalent but I do not trust people with doing substitutions, as I have had really bad substitutions in the past with online ordering. I went into the store to get those items and they were sitting on the shelf in large quantities. Then when I got home I unloaded the online order and they took it upon themselves to substitute items very poorly, despite my request for no substitutions, but following that direction for things that were in stock. This reinforces my belief that I should not trust the judgement of their staff to do any substitutions. I should not have to pay for items that I did not want. I asked to be refunded or for my items to be replaced. Jewel has not offered to do either one. I sent a message saying there was a problem with my order and I got a quick response from the general customer service saying that this would be forwarded to the store manager. I have not heard any further response despite sending three follow up messages. This happened over a week ago. This is terrible customer service as no one has offered to make this right.

Tosheena the cashier and Kendra the bagger have very good customer service skills which make all the difference. Forgive me on jacking up the spelling of the names.

This is my favorite jewel. It is brand new and beautiful. The staff is kind and accommodating. Even during the thanksgiving rush, they held their cool. Great deli and produce section.
