Store is OK. If you self check out in the morning expect either a rude male employee or some female employee who will BEG you for MONEY and shove her little "homeless box" in your face every day!!! No IDEA why management allows this. I refuse to go to this store any more.

Nice store. Unfortunately their digital coupons often don’t work at check-out, so I’ve bought many items thinking I’d pay the discount price but they end up charging me full-price.

This is a good Jewel Osco store. Nice modern interior. Had the things I was looking for. Really appreciate them selling Boar's Head deli products, as my closest location does not offer them. Friendly staff at the deli. Produce section could have been a little better but it wasn't terrible. Everything seemed orderly for this smaller location. Will definitely return next time I am in Chicago.

Hey. I just saw a live video. Where the manager by the name of Todd said the police wasn't called on Venezuelans who were stealing from the store because " they have better things to do" . What's the store policy on stealing? Is the policy different if the thief is of a different race? Do you all keep records of who was caught stealing and when police where called doing these incidents? Who determines when the police are called and when to let it go?

I was there this morning 10:14am (12-07-23)And probably I'll be there more frequently but I hope the cashier " KEKE" doesn't have that ugly attitude ? because If she don't wanna deal with customers she probably shouldn't work there anymore. The rest of the workers were polite.

Lots of variety of products and better prices than most. The service is excellent, from the prepared meals to those who help you bag everything, who are often senior staff.Highly recommended.

I come here every day and I typically have a pretty positive experience with the exception of two scenarios. When Caleb is running self-checkout (usually at night) and when I need stuff from the deli.With the deli, I can understand that the person who is suppose to be fulfilling may be busy doing some of their other duties. Because of this, it may often take a long time for me to get anything from the deli.Every self-checkout attendant has been nothing but wonderful to me with the exception of Caleb. When I first had him as my attendant, I saw him straight up arguing and trading words with other customers. I even recall the customers yelling "why do you even work here?" That night, I also had a price inaccuracy with one of my items and when I called Caleb over to help, he told me to type in my phone-number, which I did, but when that didn't solve the price inaccuracy (it was a yellow tag error so typing in my phone number obviously wouldn't help), he straight up ignored me. I wrote it off that he was potentially having a bad night so I left without purchasing anything. I can understand that as someone who used to be a self-checkout attendant myself. Ever since, I have seen him argue with other customers again and again. Tonight (10/18/23), I had another price inaccuracy with a tic-tac which is literally placed right at the register itself. He became extremely rude/hostile when I asked if it was possible for him to fix it. Thankfully, while he was taking forever to fix it (by scanning the item over and over again?), someone else took over and sent him to the register. I did not catch her name but she was extremely professional and fixed it instantly.To end on a positive note: there's a pretty good reason why I continue to shop here every day (maybe I won't go to self-checkout at night anymore due to the reason stated above). The selections seem pretty well stocked, especially considering a store of its size. Security does a great job at protecting the store even as the block can be a bit sketchy. MOST of the employees provide great customer service. Unfortunately the ones who don't will ruin the experience.

This location is a joke. Came in to buy flowers. Legit took 40 minutes…. Long lines, incompetent cashiers and a manger that could care less and looks beyond confused. Was charged twice for one bouquet…after standing in line initially, had to stand in another line for 10 mins… not a sorry for the mistake, poor experience

You gotta try their hot breakfast sandwiches. They put them out around 7:30. Also the sushi is very nice. And they have a wide selection of cold drinks, including Protein2o. Only problem is that it can get extremely overwhelmed with customers.

I really bad experience at the deli. I asked the lady was she still open? Yes what do you want! I told her what I needed. Which was one thing. Then she tells a coworker I'm trying to get outta here. I get my stuff and as I'm leaving she's calling a Caucasian couple over to help them.. I'm like you barked at me and sweet as pie to them. Yeah I'm sorry but that wasn't right very unprofessional.

My husband and I live in Canada and are visiting Chicago. We went to the deli at this store and met Yvette McGee behind the counter. What a treat that was. She was outstanding. She advised us on all we needed to know, served us wonderfully well, making great suggestions and went above and beyond in her attitude and service level. What a huge credit she is to your company. Thank you, Yvette!!! Please come to Canada and give our store employees in customer service! You sure brightened our day!!!

Good store generally but they must have a new butcher area crew. Really fraudulent packaging of store-prepared ground beef, sold as "85% lean" and dripping with more fat than ever seen in beef. June 2023
