Went in there today 4/15 for some Cheap Chicken Monday deal. I got there a little before 3pm to order a 12 pc grilled. The workers behind the deli counter say it’s a15 min wait for grilled. Fine I waited and waited and waited with my family there. It’s 4:05pm and now they are telling people it’s a 45 minute wait for grilled. So as the grilled is ready there are back orders. I have #03 and they start calling #28, #21, #19, #18 but no #03. So I question them why are they serving all those back orders that are after #03. They tell me it’s another wait for more grilled chicken. I once again I state that I am #03 how am I being skipped all those after me are being attended yet I’m still waiting. They looked at me like I’m crazy and went about taking care of the other customers. I get my boys and tell my wife let’s go. I’m union shop so I shop at Jewel for that reason. I understand the high demand for chicken on cheap chicken Monday but they pissed me off and I left.

Those two women that work there got the nerve to laugh at a little girl like they ain’t looking worse themselves. How could workers be so cruel to shoppers? NEVER AGAIN!

3-15-24 The Deli men were excellent. The cashier was a little slow. She rang the liquor up as juice, then had to call for backup. She also had a little co-signor with her who couldn't keep his little, smart mouth closed. Also, there was a huge group of loud mouth senior citizens gathered around the register. It was so awkward because there was hardly any room to walk out of the store. Then, to top it off, a guy waited until I moved, moved into me, and said, "ooh, my arm is hurt". Finally, when I headed toward the door, a girl stepped in front of me with her two babies, as if she waited exactly for me to move so she can walk in front of me. All of these people were uncouth. I would like to note, the delivery in the neighborhood I was sent to (they know who they are) was just as horrible as shopping at that store. People were blocking the street in their vehicles and a bus, which was still when I was moving, decided to move as I turned. Then blew the horn at me like I did something wrong. Thank you!

Good place to buy the 8 pc grilled or jerk chicken. One of the few places that is constantly good besides the one near University of Chicago. The older black gentleman with the glasses is especially good.

Manager Abbie is à poor reflection of customer service for this Jewel-Osco 0n 95th Stony Island. When trying to purchase salads advertising for $1.99 I was denied the purchase. I was told I had to have a digit coupon on Apps. I had no cell phone on me & wanted to if a sales paper was available to clip a coupon. I was denied any other attempt to purchase items. There was other customers who had the same problem with the salads!

Called store for over an hour to place an order for a cake. Nobody was in the bakery department and no one else would take the order. Was told to call in the morning. Once I did that, they instantly tell me no! No same day order. I explained the situation and still no. Never once did they ask what I wanted. They were rude and constantly hung up when asked for a supervisor. Nobody wanted to help me after speaking to the supervisor. Very disappointed! I finally convinced the manager to help. Never going back!

This location was closed by the city on 9/15/23 due to having their license suspended. According to the public health inspection report, there were several violations including being in non compliance for many. This reflects how long this has been occurring. 175 mice droppings throughout the store. These areas include the syrup display, cereal, bread, deli and produce sections. Also food not suitable for consumption, not properly stored at the proper temperature. Also live flies in the bakery and deli. I'm not mentioning everything but enough to bring awareness. This had became my default location after writing off the location on 75th/Stony Island for good. I can't help but wonder about everything I've purchased via pickup here. It's not exactly the same as you picking out your own items. But I'm still alive so that's good. I always sanitize produce anyhow. Be cautious of what you buy. I do remember years ago, I had a friend who bought some cornbread from Dominick's bakery. She froze half of it for later consumption. She would later discover that half included a baked fly in it. Eat at your own risk.

my experience was terrible. I put things in my basket that were on sale and when I got to the register, the young lady rang them up for the regular price, I ended up paying 50 dollars for some water and some potato chips in a box, be careful when you go to jewels, the cashiers will not tell you what's on sale or adjust the prices for you they're gonna ring you up for the full amount look at your receipts
