Will no longer purchase any sea food at this location. I purchased perch and some catfish fillet on two separate dates and BOTH times the fish was clearly spoiled. The perch was positioned so you really couldn't tell. When I purchased the catfish, the gentleman came out with a box and preceded to give me what I requested. The fish wasn't frozen or even appeared some what firm, and you clearly could see a little water drip from the fish as he placed it in the clear bag. Shame on me. When I got the fish home both times the smell was foul! They were up close and knew by the SMELL that the fish was SPOILED. They clearly knew the fish should have been thrown out. Unacceptable to to even hand that to a customer. Stop unthawing so much at one time if you're trying to avoid losses?

An employee yelled at me for no reason I just wanted to get some water I had done nothing wrong.He was an old man and that's why I kept silent to show respect to him.I just ignored it this time.Next time, if such a thing happens to me, I don't care about anyone's age anymore, and I won't be silent anymore, and I will seriously enter into a serious fight with that person and take my right.It is better to retrain your employees

They have very good deals you can clipp it on app, otherwise they are kinda expensive compared with other grocery stores

My only complaint is about the deli. They have have like 2 workers and the line is always long. Even if they have more workers only two people serve the line and it’s always slow. Also, if the Cesar salad sells the most why isn’t that option always in stock?

Customer service could easily be leagues better. Nasty attitudes all over. Customer rep rang me up for more than what I had and tried to lie about it.

I love jewels 8 pieces fried chicken on Monday but this jewels on 34th street in Chicago must be short on staff .it was one lady in the deli dept and she was mad everything like the fried chicken and fries was oldSo we had to wait 20 minutes for fresh fried chicken..to make a story short we was given bloody wet chicken. I called and was told they took it out to early. I was a little disappointed I was told to bring it back ?

Whoever is a manager of the store,don't do a job right. This place is a mess. They need more cashiers on the floor when it's busy. Hudge line at the self-check line as well.

The produce I purchased was very fresh. The store was clean. It's the same at all the Jewel stores I go in. I have to go to another self serve register because of no bags.

Shout out to the manager on duty between 4:00 and 5:00 today Friday August 4, 2023. Dude was handling it!! It was crowded, some customers were upset, I was happy to see him taking care of running the store masterfully!❤️

GHETTO! Each time I visited this Jewel I've had or witness a terrible experience. Who conducted the interviews? Well, in today's news, the 5 staff members behind the deli counter today (which was so disheveled) decided to take their time and while 2 ppl took one person's order the other 3 sat in the back playing and joking on each other. The one guy with the classes thought we came for a comedy show because he kept dropping everything and then say little snide jokes as the line of 3 reached to door. Because two staff members decided to take one person's order instead of helping the lady who stood in line 20 minutes it cause the two customers to feud. It's a shame THIS Jewel is like this unlike in other neighborhoods. The staff is unfriendly as well. Like they don't want to work, and this is the for deli counter.
