Our son loved his week at KSL. Wish we did more than one…likely next summer!

This is a great facility and a great camp experience. They make everything fun and the staff is involved and nice to be around from the moment you walk in the door. My daughter never likes camp and even she had to admit that she had fun and learned something, too.

We had our kid birthday party there and it was very disappointing. They did not make it festive, people arrived and they were rushing them already reminding them that they need to pick their kids up punctually. They rushed us out and were treating us to charge us more money if we stayed even two minutes longer when kids where still using the bathrooms. It was too expensive for what they offer, no music, and after the activity the host was not around at all so no one helped. Activity was not great for sensitive to texture kids and a little boring for older kids and they did not offer any alternative.

I booked a party for 20 kids and it’s 700 something but then the kids decided they wanted to do something else so I decided to cancel. First I’ve been trying to call for 3 days and not getting through. Finally I was able to talk to someone I told the lady that I wanted to cancel because the kids wanted to do something else she said “ let me talk to my team or something & they’ll call me back. I never got a call back & I made a deposit. So this place doesn’t even deserve a star.

Very overrated. Went here for a birthday party and the staff was literally rushing us out. There only concern was making more $$. Don’t recommend based on limited activities for the price and grouchy staff.

This was the OG, and we started here when KSL was initially opened. My son took many lessons and had his birthday party here. It was so much fun - we are so sad but happy for them that they are moving on.

Mr Shegan is AWESOME! His way of handling stressed parent minutes before the big show, his way of engaging kids VIRTUALLY during the shows, my kid and her friends had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday virtually. Mr Shegan called the day before to walk me through what would happened, so I appreciated the walk-through and gave me a level of comfort despite the backoffice chaos i experienced the last couple weeks. What's really dampening the supposingly-stress-free experience is the back-office arrangement. Some of the highlights below - So the zoom info was given to me when I booked the party back in May. I called a few times to confirm the zoom info a couple weeks prior to the party to make sure what I had on the invite was still correct. What really caused me a bit anxiety is that when they did "confirm" the zoom info with me over on email, the info sent over contains a couple other kids names and one of their party information. Granted nothing really personal was shared, but this made me wonder how they handles guest information in general. The day of the party, apparently, the guests and I were in a different zoom room from Mr Shegan's, the "registration" page we were sent to had a different party date/time options to pick from, which confused a lot of us. Many parents were texting me just few mins before the party while I was confused myself, and not sure what happened since it was slightly different from what Mr Shegan told me the day before. I think there's a change of personnel post-sales coz I couldn't reach the person who I contacted during the sales to confirm all the logistics. Everytime I contacted KSL, I reached the voicemail, emails were unanswered. Granted they did call you back rather quickly. But that's kinda annoying and added extra layer of stress to a planner like me. And suburb buyers be aware - if you want virtual party, kits pick up time is 9-4 in LP. During sales time, the lady told me that they could arrange weekend pickup given I live in the burbs and DO work regular 9-5. But obviously, this didn't happen. We had to make an arrangement for a quick trip to the city. All in all, the experience was 5+ star DURING the party time, but it was less than desired during the planning phase post-sales. Mr Shegan is def. the saving grace.

We had an incredible virtual party for our son this past weekend. After so many Zoom parties we were looking for something different. This was our answer. Thank you Mr. Keith and the entire Kids Science Labs for a wonderful experience!

Kids Science Labs led my son's 6th birthday party and were INCREDIBLE! From the planning and setup, all done by email, that was smooth and easy, to the engagement we saw from a group of 30 5-8-year-olds: everything was top-notch.Our scientist was Mr. Shaygun and he mixed exactly the right amount of fun, learning, and amazement. The kids had so much fun -- and the parents have been letting us know the experience was a special one.The only drawback is that we were not able to witness all the kids -- probably because we had too many and they were tiny on our laptop screen...but the feedback we are getting from everyone is extremely positive. Our son will remember this birthday for years to come!Thank you Karina, Mr. Shaygun, and KSL!

I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars! We had a virtual birthday party with Kids Science Labs in December and we could not be happier! Mr. Shegan was fun, energetic, very engaging & knowledgeable! He was also very funny! The kids had an absolute blast & they learned something while having fun. My daughter is still talking about the reactions every time we use ketchup with a meal. Multiple parents texted me after the party was over letting us know not only how much their child enjoyed it but that they did as well. Thank you KSL for making our daughters 9th birthday party such a memorable one for everyone especially in the midst of a pandemic!

Thank you so much for the awesome program that you guys offer. We have been attending KSL for 3 years and my 2 kids look forward for their Saturday class. Is really funny how they ask each other to guess what the next class is going to be about. KSL has awoken the curiosity about a lot different things. I really appreciate all the work you guy do.

Signed up my child for the class. We show up and are told this class has been cancelled. We were never contacted but yet charged 2 times for the class. Left phones messages and never responded to. Tried to email and had my email bounce back. Now have to try and get credit card company involved to get the refund. Completely disappointed child and very angry parent.

Overall my daughter had fun, but I was disappointed at the "washable" paint they used on the last day of camp. My daughter insisted on wearing her "party" dress for the last day, and the "washable" paint did not wash out, at all. I totally get it that it's camp and kids could get messy, but it would just be nice if they gave parents a warning of what days they might be using paint (maybe I would have warned my daughter that her "party" dress might get ruined), or if the "washable" paint they used was indeed actually washable.

My son has spent countless hours at KSL Lincoln Park and has loved every minute. We began when he was three, and he's now six. We have utilized almost every service they have - weekly classes, winter/out of school camps/ summer camps and even the virtual summer camp! We obviously love this place. Post-COVID, he has participated in virtual and in-person camp. The virtual camp exceeded my expectations. I was afraid I'd have to spend the entire time helping him with experiments etc. Not at all. All the materials were shipped to my house and more detailed instructions (really expectations) emailed a few days prior. Really, I just put all the materials they shipped in a container, made sure the computer was plugged in and left him to it. He LOVED it! The entire week my kiddo maybe interrupted me once for work. Usually it was me sneaking downstairs to see what was happening bc I could hear him laughing or music (there's a 10 min snack break after an hour, one kid gets to pick a song - they dance/snack etc). I had my reservations about the virtual camp, but only have great things to say about it. My kitchen is a mess afterwards, but that happens anyway. In-person has also been good - temperature checks, masks, kids spaced out at tables. Everyone is obviously taken whatever precautions they can. Also, I appreciate everyone's flexibility. We had some last minute scheduling changes, but Keith and his team were beyond helpful and accomodating. KSL has given my son some sense of normalcy the past few months and it's very much appreciated.
