Just moved to the area, and the facilities and customer service are great!I have to give a GLOWING review for the service and patience of Emma, who went above and beyond for me. While changing for my tan I knocked my wedding ring off of the little shelf, heard it hit the ground...then it was nowhere to be seen. Emma helped me search every corner, nook, and cranny of the facility (and there are a lot, tanning rooms are separated by partitions that don't touch the floor, and each piece of tanning equipment is monstrous with a ton of parts/cords near the floor). After about 25 minutes of searching, I was sitting in defeat on the floor about to give up and she found it! 3 rooms down from mine UNDERNEATH a pillar joint that connects the walls to the floor. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The dude who works there has no manners - I'm just about had it with him.He doesn't greet you, nor when you leave, does he say have a good whatever. He's always on his phone, and he doesn't even know anything about the products he's selling. The other two? Friendly and helpful - I like that. They even have the time to talk or listen to you, tanning related or not. They don't sit around playing on their phone watching TikTok or posting things on their Insta, OR let people off the street to use the bathroom, and they aren't paying customers or tanners.Moving on, 5 stars for the business because of the other two, but this dude gets no stars but 1... middle finger. Scratch that, make that 2!By the way, I asked him if the lotions were on sale or if there were any discounts of the day or whatever, and every time I buy some, there is always some percentage off. I sure hope he wasn't lying because the whole thing felt rushed, and I didn't like that at all. This was on Monday the 3rd, and I'm pretty sure they had some 4th of July special for the week or whatever. I will find out on my next visit. However, if I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. But he still gets 2 middle fingers.

Fantastic place! And the manager Erica was spectacular. I didn’t feel pressured to purchase any packages or items at all. However, I ended up buying a few things because I felt comfortable and welcomed. Also, the 90s music playlist was great. ?Services: Tanning

It's always clean, organized and the people are friendly. You can usually get in and out pretty quick and it's right off the Red Line at Bryn Mawr.

LA Tan for the win! Their prices are affordable and I love that they offer special deals on Tuesdays. It is also so convenient that I can visit different locations, depending upon where I'm at in the city for the day.The staff at this location are super nice and very helpful. Erica has recommended a number of great products to help me achieve and maintain a beautiful sun-kissed glow. She always goes above and beyond when it comes to educating and informing guests on which products are best. She is super nice and always makes me feel welcome.This location has always been very clean and the beds are powerful. They have a great selection of tanning lotion and after-sun lotion in a number of varying price ranges.I cannot recommend LA Tan enough! Clean, great local tanning spot. I would give 4 stars but when I stopped by a few days ago they were closed an hour and a half early. Luckily, my first experience was good enough I’m only docking one star and hoping it a one time mistake. At the very least they should have posted a note stating, “Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to close early…” Might be a good idea to have one if this situation ever arises again.

Closed 40 minutes early with no notice! Yelp, Google, website, and even their door sign all state hours as open until 9 pm on Wednesday. I arrived at 8:20 pm hoping to do and 8 minute stand up and place is locked! I would have come earlier had I known!

I won’t visit this location again. Despite being open until 9pm, I arrived at 8:42pm and a rude employee named Erica turned me away because it was “too late.” I told her I would happily just do a 7 minute tan and would be extremely quick knowing that they closed soon, in 18 minutes. She still turned me away, even though there were no customers there. I work late and in the past a nice guy who works there has let me do a quick tan up to 10 minutes before closing. Unfortunately though, one bad seed can really spoil the bunch and I won’t come back to this location moving forward.I was actually planning on buying a 10 pack of tans and a new lotion so I really hope Erica missed out on a commission ;)Service: Tanning

I stopped in for a one-off spray tan for an event but will be back more often due to the kind and professional gent (Jake) that gave me some pro-tips and was very welcoming and informative. Because of COVID, I stayed away from a tanning booth. But now, I thought it might be ok to go back. The day, I was told that my pre-paid visits expire after a year. Hmm... And, the front desk person who informed me of this was, well...not quite there. Seemed stoned, hungover, or just plain bored? Not cool. I'm my mind, they've stolen money from me. If the company will honor my pre-paid visits and either refund my money or allow more sessions. I'm not holding my breath. Buyer beware.
