If it’s the government that issues the temporary drivers license and it’s not accepted at the bank, then why is the government issuing them? If a temp ID is not good enough you would think a passport would do, but no not at this place. If it’s regarding the address you can very well have people bring two forms of mail or even use the passport to match up the name of the temporary drivers license. You do the same when you have to get a passport or identification anyways don’t you, so why is it so hard for you guys to do so as well. You would think if it’s good enough to travel with a temp ID it’d be good enough for anything, but no not at this bank. Oh and fyi this wasn’t even for anything money related, this is just to add an additional family member name to the safety deposit box. Harder to add a name than to travel or get a passport completely blows my mind. And also Lady upstairs; might want to actually give some eye contact when you talking instead of just looking at the computer screen and pretending you are working, when you were literally just gossiping right before we got there. Terrible service and bad customer service I highly recommend to bank somewhere else many other good banks in the area even chase is better then them . They can care less if you close your accounts they welcome it if they don't like your feedback!!

The location of the bank is excellent, with parking available. Unfortunately, there is a real need for an investment in leadership and customer service for the management and their employees. The branch on 13th and Michigan is an incredible experience with excellent service, but this standard is not consistent at all of their locations.

Commerical loan department very unprofessional! Does not want to do business or answer any questions! Did not ask me any questions about my loan. I ended up getting a 800k loan at Cathay Bank. I bank with Lakeside but I find this person at the loan department extremely rude and arrogant. Sorry you guys can't offer me good customer service!

This branch is the WORST! The VP manager, Suzanna was of no help at all. They claim to have sent correspondence to my parents about their dormant account, which I know they have not done Because I help check all their mail. Only until the $500 plus amount in the account was depleted from the monthly bank fees did they FINALLY send a total of 10 letters to my parents within the span of three days Notifying them of insufficient funds due to all the monthly fees they kept deducting from the doorman account since my late father passed away in 2016. It's SHAMEFUL that Suzanna (VP Mgr) who has the authority to listen and understand the situation of my late father passing away in 2016, leaving the account dormant, that the bank doesn't morally and ethically reimburse the funds back to my mother Due to their delinquent, non-communication by mail or phone number to let my mother know the account was dormant. They had both the correct mailing address and phone number AND ONLY COMMUNICATED WHEN the account was fully depleted from their banking fees). ONLY THEN did they send TEN letters recently and called the number they had on file To let my elderly mom know that her account has insufficient funds. LAKESIDE BANK IS CORRUPT AND HAS NO ETHICS in serving their customers.

I have been a customer for over two years. On a few occasions I called to ask questions, but the person was unable to answer. She gave me another number to call and I left messages that go unanswered even after leaving a lengthy message. Save your time and go elsewhere!

The staff is courteous and professional. Have never had a problem with any of their services or staff. Don’t like that they don’t have a bathroom, even for their customers!

Worst consumer bank in the world. A simple transfer of a five-figure sum from one account to another, both under my name, can just vanish into thin air with no record whatsoever. The five-figure amount is just wiped out from my accounts. Repeated frantic phone calls and emails over several days to them were met with completely unhelpful response. As a last resort, I visited a branch to resolve this but was brushed off because "they have no IT personnels in the branch," and was advised to call the same phone number that I have called many times. Lakeside Bank's banking license should be revoked.

I came in to close an account and first-time to this site, the lower floor is teller services and second floor is for account management. I was instructed to go to second floor to close accounts and I ended up waiting in the lobby. I notice the first desk person was not conducting business and the two people he was talking was laughing and casually chatting, I could see him look at me and after 10 minutes, I decided to walk around and hoping the second desk person would see me since she had no one at her desk. She was quick to help me close my account but getting to be serviced needs improvement.

Don't trust the group they outsource for bill pay. My payment was never received and now I am stuck with a late fee. They claim to be conducting an investigation for weeks. However, I found out they are just calling my payee, harassing them, in order to attempt to have the late fee erased!
