Leading Edge Recovery Solutions (hereinafter "LERS") is a company full of unprofessional, rude, and arrogant bottom feeding collectors and I am just getting started. Here is the bottom line: LERS is a debt collection company that will bug you all day long. If you are contacted by these predators first ask if the alleged debt has been legally assigned to them or are they simply representing a client because their letters say that the debt was "placed with their company for collection." This normally means the debt has not been legally assigned to them so you needn't deal with them at all. You should immediately contact the original creditor and work out was is called an accord and satisfaction whereby you offer to pay a fraction of what you owe, like 25%, in three to four installments in exchange for the creditor reporting the debt as "paid settled." As far as LERS, simply write them the following letter: Cease & Desist This will serve as your legal notice under federal law, specifically, The Fair Debt Collection Act, to cease all telephone contact with me in reference to the above captioned alleged debt. If you call me again I will file a formal complaint against you with the Federal Trade Commission who is responsible for enforcement, the American Collectors Association and the Illinois Attorney General. Assignment Your letter states that this matter was "placed with your company for collection." To this end you are also notified that unless you provide me with proof that this alleged debt was legally assigned to you making you I will hereinafter refuse to deal with you in any manner because until said assignment is provided you are not a real party in interest.

these people are rude, snappy, and do nothing but harass you. I recently changed my number, once I got all the wrong number to stop calling me I get an automated call from a guy named Richard Silver asking me to call him back. I just usually hang up but after two weeks of him calling me 3-4 times a week I finally called the number back. I talked to some guy who told me that the calls are a wrong number and that he would remove me from the system, when I asked why it was in the computer as a wrong number but still calling me, he became very rude and defensive. He told me it takes 24hrs for my number to be removed from there automated calling list, 2 days later I just received another call. Ive tried everything I can do, Ive talked to them multiple times, they refuse to give me a supervisor and they wont stop calling. I finally got my work, school, doctors offices, and friends switched over to my new number. I really don't want to have to change it again.
