The sales associate started out helpful. When the phone rang. The associate began taking care of the caller rather than I. The phone rang again and he took care of them as well. I was the only customer in the store. Customer service priority was way off. Only takes one time for me. It’s not rocket science. All he had to say was can you please hold. This gentleman wears glasses and he’s a Caucasian guy. All I can do was walk out. Terrible experience.

My experience at this optical went far beyond my expectations. I live in El Salvador but traveled to Chicago for the Oasis concert. For weeks I had been struggling with blurred vision because of a wrong prescription. I was dealing with dizziness, depersonalization, and panic attacks—I felt devastated and hopeless. I arrived in Chicago unable to see well, but with the help of ChatGPT I found this LensCrafters, and suddenly there was hope: the idea of getting simple vision glasses within hours felt like an impossible dream turned real.
On Thursday, August 28, I went with my brother and met Kyle. In that very moment, I was in the middle of a severe panic attack and asked if there was a sofa I could sit on. Kyle was incredibly kind—he not only offered me the sofa, but also a private room if I needed space. That gesture meant everything to me. I brought my prescription, and thanks to that they had my glasses ready in less than three hours. I could finally see much better—enough to attend the concert, walk the city, and ease my anxiety in my favorite city in the world.
Kyle was extraordinary. He did more than his job—he truly empathized with me, and I will never forget that. On Saturday, August 30, I returned because my Salvadoran prescription still wasn’t right. Kyle helped me again, arranging for me to see both the optometrist and the ophthalmologist. Thanks to Dr. Kujah and the kind optometrist (whose name I regret not asking), I finally received the correct prescription. In less than 15 minutes, my left lens was corrected, and my glasses were perfect. For the first time in weeks—I COULD SEE.
What happened during those days was incredible, and none of it would have been possible without Kyle’s support, Dr. Kujah’s expertise, and the kindness/professionalism of the optometrist girl and the boss. LensCrafters is what it is because of people like YOU! 💙🏅

I haven't been to a LensCrafters in nearly two years because the pair of glasses I owned had minimal changes. I am kind of relieved they broke so I could experience the level of service and professionalism I did at this location. From the warm welcome to the express same day pick up( varied by what they have in stock), I cannot provide enough accolades for this place. Each staff member was warm and inviting for my first time. They treated me as if I had been there for ages. Dr. Jim Sementilli was as sharp as his casual business attire ( he would wear a tie if it was still in fashion!) and walked me through my examination with ease. 10/10

Top quality service at this location. I went in for an eye exam and contact lens fitting. All my questions were answered thoroughly and concerns addressed.
Everyone was friendly and attentive, from the associates on the sales floor to lab tech and optometrist. They were even modest about their prices, which were far more affordable than the four other competitors I called prior when tracking price comparisons.
I haven't been to a Lenscrafters in years since the service I had at a location out in the suburbs wasn't so great, but I'm glad to have tried again because the experience at 225 N Michigan turned out to be superb.

Love the staff there! I always feel so welcomed and at home. They all have the best personalities! I ordered 3 pairs of glasses and recently went back for sunglasses. They helped me and were very patient while i decided what frames. I picked up separately instead of waiting until all were ready so I could see the friendly faces. Update: went back after 2 years for more glasses. Remembered me and were still the friendliest people! I highly recommend lenscrafters on michigan ave.

Always on time, very thorough and make sure you have the best vision possible. Space newly renovated and looks great. They do need to provide ergonomic desk set ups for their employees though - otherwise perfect.

Had a problem with my glasses that needed to get fixed fast. Took them about 5-10 minutes, and everything was repaired. Very friendly and very helpful!!

Stacy, the sales person who helped me choose my eye glass frames was wonderful. very patient, and extremely helpful. I must have tried on at least 50 frames, some more than once, and Stacy was there to help. Her goal was for me to find the frame that I felt was just right for me. And with her help, I did!
