Lincoln Park Zoo is a wonderful public zoo. It is very small but nice and free, featuring animals like majestic lions, zebras, gorillas, and snow leopards. The ZooLights event offers a fun, festive experience with beautiful displays and a great holiday atmosphere, perfect for families. Visitors recommend getting tickets ahead of time. While enjoyable, it is noted that costs for tickets and parking can add up. The zoo has an indoor food court, and some animals may not be visible, but it remains a good place for a family visit.
Really cool zoo, and it's awesome that it's free. I last went on a weekday and it was not crowded at all, it was a great experience

The kids love it. Going through the Africa is a must every time we go. Zebra and giraffe are there and kids love to see all the fish at the end there.

Great visit, very walkable. They have really comfortable wheelchairs to rent at no cost and mobility scooters for cost. Made my dad's time more enjoyable. Some of the animals we didn't see because of the heat.
