A few days ago, I desperately looked for a local mechanic/shop to help me do a very simple thing that I attempted do myself. I had to replace both lowbeam bulbs in my car. My hands are kind of arthritic so I was having much difficulty. I drove around the neighborhood and found Lincoln Wilson Auto Service. I walked in and asked for help. A gentleman with the shop told me to pull my car in. I'm sure he sensed my desperation and proceeded to switch out the bulbs for me. No charge. I am grateful for the patience and professionalism of the mechanic who helped me. Sadly, I am forgetting his name, but will be returning for future services. Thanks to this Good Samaritan.

This place has serviced me multiple times and they’ve always done a wonderful job. Just yesterday I had a tire issue light in my car and I thought I had put air in them right so I went here and they checked my tire pressure and refilled all my tires, gave me a pressure cap for one I was missing, and pointed out some tires that need replacing, and even how to reset my tire warning and all for free. Sure it was a short visit but I appreciated that they did actually help me and didn’t feel the need to charge me.
This doesn’t even include the way they helped me with my break issues last year. Super informative, helpful, and their actual work on my car has always been much appreciated.

I can’t say enough nice stuff about these guys—I never feel worried about being overcharged or talked into unnecessary stuff. And when my battery died nearby they came out to jump it and follow me to the shop so I didn’t have yo pay for a tow. Great and timely service all around

Tony was very helpful in communicating the repairs needed on the vehicle, explaining each component, reasoning behind repair and cost. Was helpful in topping off my levels and explaining to me how to manage my car until I'm able to pay for said repairs.

This place is a life saver. Our car has had low tire pressure for two months, we brought it to the dealership (Hyundai of Lincoln Wood) who said they couldn't find any issue. When our tire pressure light went off today, we called Lincoln Wilson Auto Service who said to bring it by, even though they were closing soon. They found a nail in the tire immediately. Patched it and didn't even charge us. These guys are the best, and we'll be coming back any time we have an issue with our car!!

Lincoln Wilson Auto has been one of the most incredible and fundamental relationships that I have developed in Chicago. Years ago, I moved here as a naive college student and they have supported me like family. I’ve had experiences getting ripped off or told that my car needed more work done than it actually did by dealerships and other mechanics in town. Throughout the last 6 years, it has been proven time and time again that Tony, Nin, and the technicians run an honest business with fair prices that I can trust. I jump to tell everyone about Lincoln Wilson Auto when they mention needing a mechanic because of how wonderful of an auto shop this really is.

This shop been my go to place for oil changes, routine maintenance and car issues for 6+ years. They always explain recommended work and options, and they are very fairly priced. Tony and his team are also just really nice, always willing to check out weird noises, change out licence plates, do pre cross-country road-trip checks etc. 100% would recommend!

Was recommended this place by others in the neighborhood and so happy I went! They were accommodating, friendly, honest, and don’t overcharge for services. I had a sunroof issue and was in and out within 15min after they cleared the debris and explained how the clogs happen. Will absolutely be coming back here again!
