This is the best thrift shop I have ever been to in my life! Like stepping into a magical fairyland it goes on forever and ever. Don't miss the basement but watch your head! They have vintage everything: clothes, furniture, home goods. Also an enormous supply of Halloween and cos-play costumes, A definite must visit for any thrift lover!

Lost Eras is by far my favorite antique store in the city. A true gem! There is so much to explore from vintage clothing and jewelry to home decor and records. The clothing is so fun and unique with true vintage pieces that can be hard to find other places! The owner is so nice and everyone in the store is so friendly. This shop will definitely be a place I visit regularly!

It really hurt my heart to see authentic, vintage cultural pieces in the costume section. I'd rate higher, but pieces like that should be preserved, and I ask that cultural garments are sorted more appropriately.

The team at Lost Eras is always super helpful when looking for something in particular, and when I'm not hunting for something in particular, the store is a huge treasure hunt. Never know what you're going to find, which is half the fun of going to the store! Highly recommend stopping by if you need a specific piece for your home, costume, or daily closet, or just want to spend some time wandering through the maze of the store!

By far my favorite vintage/thrift shop in Chicago! Lots of really cool finds. You can get totally lost in the amount of neat stuff throughout the store, and there's tons of hidden treasures.

I have never been to the physical store but did just meet with Charlotte and her associate MoMo when they came to my parent's home to potentially purchase items post Estate Sale. Charlotte went through the home fairly quickly, gathering specific items of interest from each room. She had many items gathered and offered $100 for the lot. I was willing to accept that offer with the exception of just one item that I know will fetch a nice price. Suddenly, the items gathered weren't really worth anything according to Charlotte. When I said I would even take $80 for the remaining lot, she doubled down on the limited value of everything. She asked what I wanted for the excluded piece and I said $60, therefore bringing the grand total to a mere $140.00. She offered $125.00. When I said no, I'm sorry but I can't do that because I am trying my best to be a good steward of my Mother's items/funds, she rudely said then forget it and left. I wished them a "pleasant day" and gladly closed the door. Sadly this is NOT the actions of a professional business woman, let alone kind human.

I cant even explain how I felt when I walked in here. Immediate happy place. AND IT KEEPS GOING. Met a very nice couple who showed us the basement, and ended up talking to the owner for a bit. Amazing vibes. Stopping by every month from now on.

My wife and I visited from Indiana. Our friends took us to Lost Eras, and we were in awe of how wonderful this store is. So many items with so much history. Love this store. Can't wait to travel back and buy more.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! The people here are absolutely RUDE! I would put negative stars if I can. I’m big on great customer service and am always polite. I’ve never got treated with this level of disrespect and unprofessionalism. Not sure if they were just having a bad day but it’s no excuse.

I called this place when I was selling things from my grandmother's estate and the experience was truly revolting. At first, I was excited that they were interested in her things and they would be going to a good, new home. No one wants to see their loved one's whole life trashed. Both times the owner was coming to the house, she and the people she came with were late with no heads up (coffee in hand) and in the end she was rude and took advantage. She even had a rude, unjustified comment about mine and my relative's character on sale day. There was a lot going on one of the days she came to the house with her people, and she went behind my back when I was in another room by asking my relative if she could add a piece to her purchase. She had never met my relative before and had only been talking to me about the sale for weeks. So when she and I were negotiating on a final bulk price, she knew I personally did not agree to everything she planned on taking. She just kept taking things and saying we agreed on it and it was included in the price we agreed on. Even things we did not talk about and/or we found after she did her tour and made piles of things she wanted. Selling a deceased love one's things is so difficult (my gma lived in that house for over 65 years) and this person and her crew just kept taking things as if they were entitled to it. No heart, no empathy, just greedy and calculating. Take, take, take. I'm sure the store has nice things (aside my gma's stuff), but I also believe in supporting a company with integrity and soul. This is definitely not the place.

Such a treat for the eyes! Great stuff! I had to drop something off in Evanston. About an hour from me. I looked for local antique stores. This came up. Soooo much to see. “I’ll be back”

I absolutely love this store! The staff are wonderful and are always happy to help. There are so many treasures to be found. I have been several times and I always find something new. The pricing is fair and every item has a story. I wish I could give the store higher than five stars!
