Lately, the quality of the meat has gone down. Prices keep rising, and more meat seems to spoil on the shelves before it is sold. The value feel lower than it used to be.
Overall, though, the store is still great. It has a wide variety and a large selection of dry goods. Expanding the produce section would make it even better.

Frustrating experience today, like a lot of other trips to this Mariano's. No carts at all were available upstairs when I arrived, so I had to start downstairs. Thankfully there were three carts to choose from there.
Entire sections of groceries had no prices on the shelf. I asked a worker about it, and he was happy to instantly look up the prices for me, but I shouldn't have to ask anyone to do this. Prices should always be visible on the shelf and/or product. It's not like they have scanners throughout the store where one can check for themselves (a la Target). When I asked him why there were no prices, he explained that they were doing some kind of labeling changeover. OK, so why not leave the prices up until the changeover is complete? This is another example of poor management at this location. Along with the typical shelves empty of common items (e.g., Swiss cheese slices, Bounty 2-packs) and their high prices, this makes me unlikely to return.

1. The situation with shopping baskets is really bad.
2. ALWAYS check the produce EXPIRATION DATE !!!
PS. I need to follow my own warnings. How I managed to buy ketchup with expiration date almost a year ago...

This market has everything!!! Fresh hot food offerings, salad bar, gift items, fresh flowers, small plants, etc.. They have a wonderful selection of items and decent prices for its location. Two floors, with an elevator and escalator. It's a pretty large store, electric carts are available for those with mobility issues.

WiFi is very slow and no cell service resulting in missed savings with the digital coupons. Fix the wifi and the elevators so they aren’t always breaking down will bump up this rating

Something happened at this store because everyone here is NICE. It used to be just Queen Gwen in the front. Now everyone is nice. The Upper level is like coming out of church. All the employees do is smile and bless you. Im converted. Seriously thank you for whatever you did to get people to like me again. Please reward these people with pathways to promotion as they are our Future. And for the first time in a long time I feel like the future just MIGHT be bright after all.

Great quality and a huge selection all let down by self check out. Only one line of self check out open. If you take a reusable bag you can't bag your groceries directly or the machine freezes. It has a scale under the plastic bags and ring up the next item until it senses the first item. I understand but totally frustrating.

Do not go here for any meat-related sales (or meat for that matter.) The meat department never has anything in stock. Also there is a strange sewage smells in parts of this store.
