RAVEN IS AN EXTREMELY RUDE PERSON. She, for some reason, is a supervisor. She was my cashier and she was a hot mess and then she tried to apologize by blaming me telling me you... you... you... Saying that I was talking to her while she was working with another customer and there was no reason for her to try and redeem herself by blaming me for her rudeness and she even waved her hand at me and told me goodbye when I told her that I didn't like her behavior and then she picked up her phone and yelled for mod. I guess she was upset with me but I did not yell at her or demean her or any such thing but she did do that to me. It was such a stupid situation. Carol, who works at the bar is also the same way so maybe that goes on a lot in the store; however, Manny is super amazing 🩷💚

why are they so intrusive at the self checkouts now? At no point should register attendants be in my personal space bumping into me, looking over my shoulder with no apologies for pushing into me/past me.
I understand having someone overseeing the space but when I am just minding my business trying to get my lunch I do not need to be harassed. Not everyone is rude but it feels like there’s been a shift in atmosphere where some are downright aggressive. It feels like profiling because I do not have this experience when there are other people of color, then I am greeted politely and helped promptly when needed.

Among the fetrures of Mariano's is it's grill for exceptional hot sandwiches. The food is outstanding and affordable. No question about freshness, but the offerings exceed the quality and modesty of nearby places. It's great to see the attention the cook gave to each order in making the meals special. It's worth the trip for this spot alone.
On a busy Saturday at the self checkout, Denise managed the customers and maci es with grace and style. It's the kind of care you always hope to find, and it means a lot. We need more people like her!
. Now for the overall weekday experience. I came here with a shopping list, but on today we experienced customers pushing us out of the way in the deli section. I was about to get things and a large man who I had noticed knocking slaws out of a cooler pushed into us. I was going to make some purchases, but could not continue there. It's back to other stores where customers respect each other. In this regard, Mariano's is clearly not Jewel. How about some courtesy?
We have shopped here for years and enjoyed Mariano's efficiency, but today (3/27/25) it was a different experience. While few people were in the store, the ones who were had the displays covered and were oblivious of other customers. With products, it was picked over. I guess the restockers from weekends shifts don't work weeknights. Plus one cleaning item was not in their inventory. Lemon oil is a typical product at many groceries, but not here. Anyway, we were going to get a few items and then saw a checkout line that went from the front of the store to the meats in the back. We just had a few items, and the line was not moving. We left. This isn't a grocery store, it's insanity.

The produce is often not good or totally out of stock. They have a decent selection of things but not the produce.

As long as the lady standing at the florist at 3:18 PM today is there, I will never go there. When I asked her something, she responded angrily and aggressively, and threw the things in her hands around noisily.

Every Friday they have live entertainment and it’s always a great time! The bartender Joy is great and you’re guaranteed to meet some new people which is always a plus. The hot foot bar has some tasty selections and if you prefer to pick out a steak or your meat of preference and have it grilled for you then that’s definitely an option as well at the grill on the second floor! This is a great location to stop by..you won’t be disappointed!
