I swear, ever since Kroger took over Mariano’s this place has been slowly going down hill. They use to have some of the best meat! But ever since Kroger’s buy out the meat has had less flavor and over just lower quality. Also, all the little Mariano’s brand items have been affected negatively. They use to have one of the BEST tomato bisque soups I’ve ever had. Now the replacement pales in comparison. They use to have in house made popcorn with several flavors and mixes to choose from. That’s just gone now. Idk who’s idea it was to make these changes but they need to be fired.

Never enough cashiers ever. Remodel is making checkout even worse.

This store has extremely horrible customer service. I waited 15 minutes at the deli ..I was the only customer in line. While waiting for the person behind the counter I noticed that there were 2 other workers acting like they didn't see me. I'll take my money across the street to Jewel Osco

I was the only customer waiting at the deli for 10 minutes. Then I asked someone at the meat counter to call somebody to the deli. Nobody came after another 5 minutes. Then at 8:30pm, the guy from the meat counter told me that the deli guy was in the back on break and to come back in about 15 minutes. No thanks. I went across the street to Jewel.

This place has gone down hill. Added a donut shop and Starbucks, at the expense of a grill station that’s only there for decoration now. Employees have become a bit rude. Produce section is small. The hot bar selections are poor. Beggars hassle you outside in the parking lot.

No carts, produce section absolutely barren (no jalapenos or green onions, and only moldy cauliflower—just to cover the things that were on my list), and lines stretching throughout the store because they rely so heavily on self-checkout, a process which has become so overburdened with poorly-functioning surveillance that even a simple transaction still requires at least 2 interventions from the poor employee monitoring the self-checkout area. It’s shamefully a given these days that corporate values profitability over their employees’ experience—but now they’ve gone so far as to make it unbearable for customers to shop here, which is a truly fascinating business strategy.

It's a big, decent, grocery store. Fresh produce, friendly employees, good selection of all the things

For a " grand" re-opening , this location truly disappoints ! They close 10 minutes prior to their posted time and their bathrooms are dingy and unclean , im sure these are not up to Mariano's standards... if they are , they sure have dropped low...

Everything is so tight you can’t get through anywhere. Random displays in the middle of the aisles make it impossible to get through. Most of the checkout is self checkout now which never works - just another way to reduce costs by not having to pay employees. But the prices never go down.

Lines, lines, lines!!!!! Anywhere else is quicker. We live across the street from it but would rather go anywhere else to avoid the frustration. Hire staff!!

Self checkout is always broken, and rarely any other lanes are open... I've never been to a place that makes it so difficult to give them your money...

I love Mariano's! The produce department is front and center. They have recently expanded it. The organic produce is not hidden in a small corner like in most grocery stores that I have been to. They look as fresh and inviting as the non-organic produce. Fresh breads and bakery items are in plentiful supply. Groceries are easy to find in well-marked aisles. The prepared foods department in Mariano's is so extensive. There is something for almost everyone for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They provide both manned and self-chekout lines. My one criticism is that the prepared salad does not come with dressing. Who sells a salad and does not include dressing? Otherwise, Mariano's is a good place to shop for groceries.

Still remodeling. Still piles of stock blocking aisles. They have exactly 1 cashier at peak busy hour. It’s impossible to get out of here without tedious self check (I’ll confess it’s not my strong suite) or a tedious wait. Back to Jewel where the selection is smaller but service is better. Kroger has ruined Mariano’s.
