I had an appointment scheduled at this location and learned inclement weather was coming through. I called ahead of time to reschedule the appointment, and encountered no issues. However, a week later I noticed a charge for the service that I had to reschedule on my credit card. I wasn't immediately concerned, as I figured this would be simple to correct after I called them. Wow, was I wrong! The first time I called, after holding for an excessive amount of time they told me it was resolved. Great. Except it wasn't refunded. So, I called again. And again. And again. And again. And again. I am now on my 6th or 7th call to them. I've experienced hold times of over 1 hour! Each time they apologize, and each time they tell me they cannot resolve the issue and they need the salon to do it. Then I'm left on hold to be transferred to the salon for as long as I can possibly stand to stay on hold, before I hang up, call again, and go back through the cycle. I'm currently on hold now, and it's been over 30 minutes. I've never experienced anything like this for a charge I never should have received in the first place. Yikes! Stay away!*Update- I called the salon again this evening, spoke to a manager briefly after a 40 minute hold time. He said he needed to look into the issue. I've since been on hold for 1 hour and 47 minutes!!! No one has gotten back to me with any sort of follow up. I've NEVER experienced such horrible customer service anywhere!

Massage with Gyasi was great! He was very thorough and tailored the massage to exactly what I was looking for to release tension in my lower back and IT band. Highly recommend Gyasi!

It is bait and switch. We booked on line and assumed on line prices, however when I checked out, i was charged 3 times the price because we “booked on line and booked a top stylist”. Booking on line, in for a wedding and have no idea about top stylists. When I called back to question, I was told, it is because we booked top people.

Had a massage there today and it was phenomenal.Therapist name was Yossi although I am probably but hearing the spelling I apologize. This massage was truly one of the best treatments I've ever had. This therapist is doing great things here.

I usually stick to getting my haircuts in my hometown, but I took a chance and decided to visit Tricoci for a change. Cristal is awesome! She went above and beyond to ensure she truly understood my concerns and hair goals. She took the time to carefully assess my natural hair texture, which I greatly appreciated. Her thoughtful recommendations on what would work best for me were spot on.

I am terribly disappointed with the service of this salon. I booked online because it stated that a FULL balayage was $130. My hair was already half balayage, I just needed to touch up my roots. My stylist only did half of my hair, the salon DOESN'T EVEN BLOW DRY or let alone style hair after a $330+ service. That being said I went in thinking that a balayage was going to be $130 at most $200 and some change but I certainly did not expect to pay double the claimed price. Also again mention that my hair was already partial balayage so only half of the work that I was paying for was done. I was charged for toning but the half of my hair that wasn't done was still looking yellow tone meanwhile the part that was done was a complete different tone. If I knew I was paying $330+ I would've had my stylist do my entire hair. Not to mention my hair wasn't even styled. I went here a day before a party thinking I would have blown out hair for the day after and just left dissapointed and crying out of the salon. I literally wanted her to enhance the color that I already had and I don't think this was worth $330+ dollars. Even though my stylist was super sweet the salon and its protocol not to style or even blow dry hair is absurd. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE.Services: Hair coloring

We were last week in Chicago for a wedding on 9/16/23. This salon was recommended by the concierge at the hotel we were staying, Ritz Carlton.I had made arrangements few weeks prior for updo and make up services for 4 of us. When we arrived, met with hair stylist right away; they were open and understanding to what we wanted. My hair stylist was David. He did an amazing job with my hair, modern and very chic updo. So did the other hair stylist with the rest of our group. Make up artist was Nina. She as well did an amazing work; was open to listen to what we wanted and full filled our needs. We finished on time to go back to the hotel and get ready for our event. Very pleased to recommend this salon. Thank you Tricoci salon team! Thank you David for a very glamorous look.

I hate getting my hair cut, and going to someone new is nerve wracking! Drea made me feel comfortable the second I sat in her chair. I showed her a few photos of what I was wanting to achieve, we made a plan and she showed me exactly what she was going to do. She checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable through the entire process. ‘Oh, Wow!’ Was my exact reaction when she showed me my hair. I’m so happy! Drea nailed it!!Service: Haircut

This review is for service provided on May 7, 2023. I sent the below email on May 8 and a Tricoci rep agreed to provide a complimentary facial to make things right. I tried to book said complimentary facial 2 weeks ago and Tricoci would not honor it or reply to my email. So here is the original email....Hello -I treated my gf yesterday for her birthday with a 100 min massage at 10:30 followed by the $330 platinum hydrafacial at the Michigan Avenue location. The massage was nice and finished at 12:30 as expected. Her facial was time slotted from 12:30 until 2:15. My gf messaged me at 1:36 PM saying she was finished (after walking to the locker room, using the restroom, and freshening up - so probably closer to 1:30 when she actually finished, if not earlier). I questioned the front desk why she finished 45 min early, but the women at the front desk (who were very professional and nice - no issues with them at all), couldn't give me a sufficient answer. Someone went back and asked the technician who performed the massage at 2:05 PM and she couldn't come out bc she was already with another client but said she finished the procedures early.I spoke with my mom and two sisters who have facials on a regular basis at other places and they said sometimes it will conclude a few minutes early, but 45 minutes is unheard of and ridiculous. This tells me either the technician double booked and didn't want to cancel the other client, purposely rushed the procedure to fit more clients in and make more money, or skipped steps. When you book a facial, you pay for both the service and procedure. And to shave 45 min off of a 105 min procedure that costs $330 ($400 with tip), is extremely poor business. I have to imagine this isn't normal either for you guys, otherwise Im sure you'd be getting a lot of complaints from these clients.I just went through your website and looked at other facial procedures. Is it possible your technician actually performed the 1 hour express facial on her (which is a lot cheaper at $135)? In any case, my bill for the day with tip was $610. As I indicated earlier, there were no issues with the massage. I do however, feel its unrealistic to have me pay $400 for a hydrafacial that only took 56% of the time. This bill should be adjusted accordingly. At the end of the day reputation is very important and your business has a lot of positive reviews, which leads me to believe this was a one off mistake, but I still expect this to be made right. I think the haircut I got is the most uneven haircut I've ever recieved. I was in and out of my appointment (including hairdry!) in under 30 minutes. I told my stylist that I wanted to grow out my hair and instead she chopped it so much that I can't even put it in a ponytail (my only other request). I'm overall just really sad about the whole thing and I wish I could will my old hair back. She also gave me her business cards to give to my friends and badmouthed the haircut I had coming in. Overall I'm sure my experience was just stylist dependent but I most likely will not be back.Service: Haircut

I was really impressed with Tricoci! They are very efficient in terms of checking in and checking out/paying. Fredy cut my hair and I am beyond happy with the results! Will def be returning.

Exceptional experience!! Loved both Talia for color and Vera for haircut. Very professional and so very nice! Highly recommend! Last time I was here was early 2000! Great staff !! Very personable! Absolutely loved my end result!! Price was what I expected as it was discussed with me before services were done. Wonderful all over experience! Will return!! I live and work in the area so it's very convenient with great hours!
