I live in the area and walked over there today to ask about booking a massage with all my clothes on. The fat front desk on the left person got so sarcastic with me and said," we don't do chair massages.." I said, I didn't ask for a "chair massage." I asked if I could do a massage with all my clothes on, sweatshirt, and pants. Then she said sarcastically, we don't have any openings. I said, fine, and I walked out. I worked with your company for 21 years from the Westin as I was Chef Concierge and need massages for our baseball players. I must tell you, I will never suggest your company to anyone ever again Your fat receptionist are bad for business.

I had an AMAZING one hour massage by Carmita. I would go back just for her. I felt so relaxed, and got firm pressure and extra time on my focus areas like I asked. The front desk woman was super sweet, although pushed the membership really hard. I would go back though!

Yesterday I had the absolute worst experience at the Massage Envy located at 668 W Diversey Parkway in Chicago, Illinois. My massage was cancelled an hour before and so I was offered a half off facial. I accepted the offer and have not stopped regretting that decision. The second I got home and looked in the mirror my skin was beat red and covered in chemical burns with open skin all over my face. The second day I am covered in scabs which will take weeks to heal. I have had numerous facials in my life and have NEVER had an experience like this or even the slightest reaction to my skin. This esthetician should NEVER be touching anybody else’s face or have a license and I will be making sure to NEVER recommend this place to anybody. I am absolutely sick about what happened to me and hope it never happens to anyone else. My skin didn’t have a single blemish on my face before coming and is now completely ruined.

Good massages but it's hard to get an appointment with less than a month's notice and the prices keep going up (20% in the last 6 months!). It's also kind of disappointing that there is no real online functionality to speak of (it would be nice to schedule appointments or see my balance but you need to call for those).

As far as the massage itself goes that was enjoyed. What I did not enjoy was a mysterious charge that showed up 2 hours after I had paid for my services and left. When I called to ask about this charge my call wasn't answered so I went about my day then circled back a couple days later. Come to find out the charge is for the scent I was asked to pick and now am being told there is nothing that can be done because the day has already passed. This is really unfortunate too because the staff that tended to us the day of was wonderful and helpful and I would have loved to give a better review. 10 out of 10 would not recommend for the simple fact that I don't like feeling swindled.

We’ve been going to this massage envy for about two years now and never have had a bad experience with anyone the front desk recommended. My husband sees Jose and Carmita and I love Lynda, Melisa and Rose! We are so lucky to have this massage envy close by. Y’all really need to try them out. Thank God for massage envy.

I got a text today at 11:38am reminding me of a massage at 11:30am that I never booked in the first place.I had credit for one massage left in my account and it was credited as a cancellation fee for not showing up. Now they are saying it was booked in the system and I have to pay because I didn’t cancel 24hrs in advance. I never book that massage since at 11:30am I was working. They refused to credit back my account. Ridiculous.

I've been going to this location since before they moved their front of house staff, who today I spoke with, Caroline was very polite and answering my questions about pricing service and everything since the update amazing experience very professional. Have been going to an aesthetician there who is honestly the best at what she does.

Some of the massages I've had have been great, but this company has TERRIBLE policies and is incredibly overpriced. No one cares about credits, give us REFUNDS. Staff also seems driven to increase subscription membership so it's just another sales environment. Sounds relaxing, huh?

Carmita is amazing! I asked for medium to hard pressure to help get some of these knots from my back and I walked out feeling a bobble head. Highly recommend if you like a firmer massage.

Is it just me...or does anyone else want to know if their massage therapist has been vaccinated? The therapists at this location are fantastic and the facility is spotless and well run. I am, however, extremely disappointed at Massage Envy's potentially dangerous position to refuse to disclose the vaccination status of their staff. Their erroneous claim that providing such information is a HIPPA violation...it is NOT... is putting members who are concerned about the potential exposure to Covid at great risk. As much as I would love for them to mandate vaccines for their employees (to protect their staff as well as their clients) the LEAST they can do is let members know who has been vaccinated, so we can book accordingly. I have been a long time Massage Envy member and am so sad that I cannot book a service in a small, enclosed room without knowing if the massage therapist or esthetician has been vaccinated or tested negative for this deadly disease. For a "hands- on" service business this is very troubling.
