it’s been 1 year since I’ve bought my Honda but here is my story so far with the location on grand in Chicago.October 2022: I went in to buy a car and I came across a 2020 Honda Accord Sport 1.5t. I pointed out that the vehicle was damaged (photos attached) and asked how they were going to fix it before I purchase the vehicle. The photos were taken the day of sale as proof of damage that was already there. The sales rep who was very nice tried and tried to sell me on Honda packages in which I didn’t want since the car already cost $30,000. The sales manager tried and tried as well but I did not budge. I noticed he became frustrated because I kept declining. I was told he wasn’t going to fix the damages because I did not want any of the packages. When I threaten to leave, that’s when the manager said that he’ll work to see if he can get me a new pair of side mirrors but it wouldn’t happen overnight. I did still purchased the vehicle but left really confused on the type of business that was conducted with me.November 2022: a month into owning the vehicle I had to bring in the car for service. A couple of microphones needed to be replaced as it was making a noise from the dash board. I explained to the service department of the issue and they had me bring the car in. They told me they couldn’t replicate the same issue that was going on so there was as nothing they can do. I left and the car was still making the noise. I come back the very next day with the noise and finally they tell me that they are going to fix the problem. It took a few days and since they didn’t offer me a loaner vehicle, I had to miss work a day from work.Fast forward to November 14th 2023: for the 1st time, I bring my car in for an oil change/tire rotation. My car has been working fine up to that point. Today, November 15th my car is making a noise on the driver side starting at 20mph. It wasn’t making that noise before I brought it in the previous day. If I bring the car back and state that there is an issue with my car, I’m sure they are going to try and charge me $$$ to fix whatever is wrong. Seems like they did something to my car.I’m really upset of the fact that I’ve had so many issues already with only owning this vehicle for 1 year. Also, the side mirrors are still NOT FIXED.

6 hours later and I got my dream car. Omg, what a day. Milton helped me achieve a goal I thought I would never do. He’s super friendly and he will help you get the best deal possible. Go to him with your sales purchase.Also, I love the finance guy DJ, he also was a major help in getting my new car. Thank you to the whole team! Much love for the friendly service.

It's very unfortunate that im here making a negative review considering my boyfriend just bought me a car here a few nights ago and we had the best experience. Truly I don't want to include my salesman in a negative review because he deserves the full 5 stars and to not be attached to this review.The reasoning my review is negative now is due to the insulting experience I had on (11/10) with the service manager JEREMY SANCHEZ. My boyfriend bought me a 2024 Honda (11/8) and I was scheduled to come in, at 5pm (11/9), for an inspection. I was coming from far suburbs so called an hour before to make sure I didn't drive all the way there to be met with any issues. I sat on hold for 15+ minutes before using another phone and calling again, to which I was transferred to JEREMY SANCHEZ. He was already a bit rude with his response that I should've came at 4 if I wanted an inspection done. He also had no idea what inspection I needed in the first place and was questioning why I needed an inspection. I definitely expressed my frustrations that I was told to come at 5 and that I was already on my way etc. He explain that I could come the next day (11/10) and gave me times that worked. So Friday (11/10) came and I had to schedule a babysitter to pickup my son and care for him since I had to now fit this inspection in after work. I reached out to the dealership to ask if they would be providing a rental and explained my only concern was my toddler at home with a sitter and I was trying to decide if I should go get him first or if I would be able to run home in the middle of the service to pick him up. I was told because of circumstances where I'm being inconvenienced to come in on an entirely different unplanned day they would provide me an Uber so I could run home and pick my son up and they would also Uber me back. I showed up to the dealership and spoke with a guy at the desk. I relayed this info and he began to walkie talkie JEREMY and asked for him to come over and speak with us. JEREMY refused and instead continued to sit across the room in his office, where we can very clearly see him, and walkie talkie the entire conversation. He was beyond unprofessional telling the guy that yes my inspection would take an hour and a half, and they could order me an uber home but "Im not paying for her ride back. She can figure it out herself" Again the back and fourth is playing out right in front of me via walkie talkie and i'm watching JEREMY sitting back in his chair basically laughing at the situation. I was then told to take the uber and my salesman would pay for my uber back personally. I walked over to the desk to order the uber and was once again met by the walkie talkie conversation. JEREMY, still sitting at his desk just watching me go from desk to desk had to make sure it was clear that he "is not paying for her uber back" . He continued talking so much crap about how I need to make sure I know they're not ubering me and that once I leave it's my responsibility to get back. The lady at the uber desk started to lower the volume to conceal what JEREMY was saying. Aside from hearing him LOUD as can be I made a comment to the lady that Yes they're talking about me and that I already heard the entire conversation , unbothered she called the ride.I went to the lobby to wait for my ride and was so upset I went and seeked out a manager. I sat down to speak with ROB and within seconds mr.JEREMY runs over and begins whispering to ROB. ROB then shares that my inspection will now only take 30 minutes and points to the chairs across the room and says im good to go and can go sit and wait. I sat down to share my experience with JEREMY and he instead intersected my conversation to the point where ROB blew me off and literally said we were done talking. For a manager to know Im about to complain about an employee but then let that same employee come over and take over my conversation and also blow me off himself is BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE.JEREMY SANCHEZ is a horrible manager in my eyes

Horrible experience. Tried to keep adding an $1800 "Prep Fee" on top of the price "to make sure the lights , brakes work and to wash it. Wouldn't drop the fee. Actually turned into the yelling match with manager, who looked and dressed like a Latin King gang member. Stay away, far away from McGrath.

Despite the somewhat prolonged buying process, my car buying experience at this dealership was remarkably seamless. The team's transparency instilled trust from the start, and Ed Payne, an exceptional salesperson, went above and beyond to assist me, promptly addressing all my questions and concerns. I also worked with Frank Garcia who diligently closed the deal as quickly as possible. I would definitely purchase another vehicle here!

Really appreciate the thoughtfulness of everyone who works here. The receptionist was really nice and helped get my service appointment booked smoothly. The night before I had an incident and needed the car towed to the department early the next day. They received me ahead of time with grace that I really appreciate. But my service advisor, Carlos, was the absolute best. He was kind, transparent and helpful throughout the entire process. Would certainly recommend this place for your Honda vehicle for service.

We took our Honda in for an inspection and explicitly raised concerns about water leaking into the trunk, specifically requesting a review of the sunroof drainage system. Prior to the inspection, we had a phone conversation with Alfonso, the service representative, in which we reiterated the need for an examination of the sunroof drains. Both in person and over the phone, it was confirmed that this request would be fulfilled.However, upon picking up the vehicle, we were informed that the sunroof drains had not been reviewed during the initial inspection. To our dismay, we were required to pay for the first inspection before taking the vehicle, and were informed that, in order to inspect what we wanted, we were required to pay an additional $600 for a second inspection.Seeking resolution, we spoke with the service center manager, Jeremy, who defended the decision by stating that their inspection process strictly adhered to Honda's guidelines, regardless of customer requests. We explained that we had only requested the service because the sunroof drainage was supposed to be examined. Consequently, we sought a refund for the initial inspection.During our conversation, Jeremy displayed a contentious and dismissive attitude towards our concerns. He argued that the work had been completed and adamantly refused to offer a refund. His demeanor was not only argumentative and rude but also entirely indifferent to a customer's valid apprehensions.I would highly recommend anyone considering this location to read their Yelp and BBB reviews before doing business. It will give them a better understanding of the environment you will be dealing with. We had a disappointing experience, and there are much better options all over the city.

*update* from one star to 2 still not great.They will now be only covering half for the windshield which we agreed would be okay. Although they stuck with no one loaded anything onto the bed of the truck.My father brought his truck for a recall here, thought it was a good idea to go to a local dealership. Unfortunately they damaged my fathers windshield claiming it was from a rock chip that was never there in the first place but apparently due to temperature change it cracked. I have a before and after picture I will provide here. Also on top of the damage that was done in their procession of the vehicle they also used the truck for their personal use. The bed has red paint that was transferred from whatever they had loaded onto the bed of his truck. Please view all pictures, manager has yet to call back. They have denied to take responsibility on the windshield even if it happened within their possession.

Juan Cruz was the biggest help during this experience from the moment I walked through the door to walking me to my new car! He made it happen. I’m incredibly thankful. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I recently brought in my 2016 Honda Civic Touring for a much-needed tune-up, wheel alignment, and brake repair and replacement. My service advisor, Alfonso, provided exceptional service from start to finish.Firstly, the team at the service center took incredible care of my car. It now runs like it's fresh off the showroom floor. I couldn't be happier with the results.What truly stood out was the convenience they provided. Not only did they efficiently handle the repairs, but they also arranged a shuttle service to take me home and back while I waited. That level of customer care is hard to come by.If you're considering service at this location, I highly recommend asking for Alfonso. He's knowledgeable, attentive, and ensures you're well-informed throughout the process. You won't be disappointed with the service he provides.Overall, my experience with the team here was nothing short of amazing. Five stars all the way! Terrible experience. There is an embedded culture of poor customer service and people just don't care. I had an indifferent sales person that NEVER followed up with me. When I bought my used car and came to pick it up there was bird crap in several places, so they clearly didn't "detail" the car. They brought the car back in the clean it off and they removed one of the spots of bird crap. Cleary no pride in their work. The rear wiper blade was missing. I had to point that out for a second time. They never replaced the front turn signal light bulb either. These are minor issues but show that the culture is very poor.It turns out I probably bought a lemon. The car dies within 6 weeks. We brought it in and was told there was almost no oil in the car. Did they never change the oil?? I do not know, but I think the car is burning oil. Every person I dealt with in service tried to pass the buck or wouldn't return calls. I don't see the names of the employees below except my sales person otherwise I would rate them too.The car is a Hyundai so I just decided to take it to the Hyundai dealer next door and that experience was just as bad. McGrath - you need to change the culture at your city locations. No one cares and no one wants to help.

I'm in a Jerry sienfeld episode with a service reservation.Made a apointment to have new tires installed, actualy came into the store to pay a deposit days prior, and then prepaid for the tires before the actual installment of them. I have a limited amount of time because I work evenings. was assured that the tires would be installed in 3 hours.I show up @ 9:30am, talk to the service advisor (Bill Miller), and then am told Ill have to leave the car all day. I tell them no problem, give me a loaner, ill be happy to pick up the car tomorrow. Answer, sorry we dont have loaners blah blah blah.I ask to talk to the service manager (Jeremy Sanchez), same story, so I ask for a refund, sure Ill be mailed a check in 3 weeks. No one there to issue a checkblah blah blah.To sum it all up, if want the typical run around, come here...What a Chit Showthe owners should be proud.

Jose Lopez was really friendly, helped me a lot, best sales rep! The finance manager was also really nice. They both solved the inconvenience caused by the sales manager: Just MAKE SURE you read before signing, Andrey changed my interest rate from 6% to 10% without me knowing. Was the rudest person ever!! He said I would never be able to get a car from them, was mean and racist to me and my family for speaking Spanish saying come to me when you speak English, yelled at me in front of EVERYONE, called my father in law motherfucker too.

I came in for a nationwide recall and was informed that I needed a full alignment on top of that brake inspection. I waited for 3 hours and after some time, I asked if my car was done. It was and I wasn’t informed. I’d also been offered some money off services which was never applied.

Was unsure about going to this location due to the reviews I read but since it was the closest dealership to where I live, I gave it a try. Carlos & Milton helped me tremendously with test driving 3 vehicles. They were with me for 2 days while I made my final decision with no hassle at all. Of course another guy told me if I left the vehicle wouldn't be here when I came back. I was not worried about that because if it was meant for me it will be there. Needless to say when I came back so was the vehicle I had my eye on, so yes it was meant for me? Thank you to those two guys and Dariusz for making my experience painless.
