“Finally found a custom place that gives me the look I'm after! After trying and failing at a couple other custom or made-to-measure places, tried here, and this has been the first real success. First started with some pants, then did a sportscoat, and finally just got my first suit from them. Took a long time for me to get around to purchasing the suit, as I'm a WFH computer programmer, don't have much demand for wearing suits, and the pandemic put a big hiatus on ordering more tailored clothing. However, I clearly waited too long. I just got my suit back from them, and it's absolutely glorious. My wife's eyes damn near popped out of her head when she first saw me in the new suit. Also had a friend stop by when I was wearing it for the first time out, and was told "you look like a menswear Instagram influencer". As someone that's into looking good but has a difficult body shape to fit with tailored clothing, it's very, very satisfying to finally have the kind of suit I was dreaming about. Can't wait to get my next piece!”

“I was in a rush and had trouble with tying my tie. As I was walking down State street, I came across Indochino.On my morning commute I usually pass Indochino but it’s always earlier than their hours of business. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile by Michael. I explained to Michael my situation with my tie and he did not hesitate to help me tie my tie.Michale not only promptly assigned my needs, but he did so without the usual desperate salesman vibe. Michael was polite, friendly and most importantly a true gentleman.I will make sure to come back here to support this business.”

“Recently stopped by Bonobos Chicago location on Southport Ave.
I met Meagan, the sales lead, who helped with my selections. This was my first purchase at Bonobos, but was a bit familiar with the products as I have visited the shop with a friend. To be honest, I was out and about to buy a outfit for my 3 week old granddaughter, which I did acomplish. I noticed the store was across the street, so decided to stop in. I immediately saw a new coat which I needed to have, and with Meagan's help and another associate, I took advantage of the 30 off sale and bought the coat, 3 pairs of pants and a sweater. I had them delivered to the store, and upon picking them up, saw Maegan again and decided to buy 3 shirts. I love the fit and the customer service is 5 star. I enjoyed interacting with the crew. It was a pleasant experience, and I will definitely be back again. Don M”
“First-timer at Cowboys and Astronauts this past December, and the only excuse for not visiting sooner is that I’m an out-of-towner. This place is incredible! The warmth you’re greeted with by Tyler and Brian (the owners) is truly unmatched.

“I am a very big man, and I equate clothes shopping to that of getting my wisdom teeth pulled. I’ll do it when I absolutely have to, and I’ll hate every minute of it.Except my experience with Elias was a breeze. In the past I had my neck and arms measured. That’s it. I never had a properly fitting dress shirt. I had a long list of demands and a tough face to fit. This young person dropped what she was doing, and responded to my barrage of demands and questions unflinchingly and without hesitation. “Got in touch with Vicegerent in need of a custom shirt for a tuxedo. I was not expecting much since my trip to Cairo was less than 9 days away. I shared my story with Osman. It is one of my dear friend’s weddings, and I wanted to show up looking as good as possible. Osman took my measurements and got the shirt ready in 1 week! The fit was perfect, the feel is incredible, and I got my initials on the sleeve. The hospitality was 10/10. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Coming back for a suit in the fall. “Vans corporate has kneecapped the physical Vans store experience. There used to be 3 or 4 Vans stores in downtown Chicago and now there's 1 mediocre one. There are for the most part better deals on Vans' own website than in-store. If you know your shoe size and know you want Authentics or Old-Skools then there's really not a great reason to ever visit.
The only upside is Vans' website sucks so if your device freezes up every time you use it you might be able to go in store and find what you're looking for.
Sales associates walk around and are eager to help, A+ to them.
Vans is unfortunately a shell of their former selves after a series of poor corporate decisions. Which is unfortunately I and many people I know grew up with the brand.”
