  I went in with the $59 coupon for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told ahead of time that this will be $72.99 due to my car needing more oil which I was fine with. When I arrived. I was told that my total would be $85.99 with tax $105, I was not ok with this then voiced what I was told the day before. Ultimately I was told they can do this for nothing less than $75 which would be $90. I was annoyed but with everything included, I said ok. When I picked up my car something told me to ask if my car got the tire rotation, the guy told me that this location doesn’t do that. Excuse me! That’s the whole reason I came here and was ultimately okay with the price! He said he can do it for an extra $15. I told him No thank you! I feel like I was hustled out of my money and I do not appreciate this service at all and will NEVER come back!

  Was a loyal customer for 2 years until they did me wrong. I used to pay 50$ to get the car checked and this old guy is talking about it’s 100$ now. And they got me paying for something in the ECU when it’s a transmission issue. Charging me 300$ for spark plugs and $800 for ignition coils when they go for much less. Scammers

  Came in to get my windshield wipers fixed. After determing I needed new wiper linkage they told me it would be about 30min. Thirty minutes later I was told “we just got the part so it would only be another thirty minutes.” Ended up taking three and a half hours.

  Went for a simple oil change, they put the car on the hydraulic lift wrong, damaged the underbody of my car! Either the oil pan bolt or the filter was installed wrong because now I have an oil leak, incompetent service!

  I just called MIDAS on Clybourn in Chicago to ask how much it would cost to put in a blower heater for my 2017 santa fe sport. I was told by ALEX it would cost me $1500.00 dollars. States it's a 6hr job. The part is 100.00 or under. This is a rip off . Unsatisfied Customer.

  I don't know where to begin. Maybe I should start when I read a woman's perspective of her visit to this location and feeling scammed. Although the manager was very nice, I was not prepared for the scam. If you are a woman, please bring a man with you to prevent what I am experiencing right now. I spent 2300 on what I thought was a leak in my steering. They gave me a new steering pump, new washer, brake roter, pads and brake hose. The leaked stopped for 3 weeks, as they expected, for me to return for them to say it is now my rack and pinion costing another 2000 plus alighnment. Just don't go and if you do, as a woman, take a man.

  Went for an oil change, which is supposed to include topping off fluids and vehicle inspection. When I picked up my car, I specifically asked if the brakes had been inspected. They told me yes, and that they were fine. A couple of weeks later, my brakes started squeaking. So I called to verify that my brakes had been inspected. They then told me a brake inspection was not mentioned anywhere on the right up, but that I could bring my car back in to have them checked. I took my car back for an inspection for them to then tell me all four brake pads and rotors needed replacing. At that point, I didn't trust anything they said. Either they bold faced lied about inspecting them when I initially brought my car in for an oil change, or they lied about my car needing a complete brake job two weeks later. Completely unprofessional and very disappointing. Be careful trusting them to be honest about their service or your car needs.

  I went in for an oil change. They had told me that the struts needed to be replaced. Instead of clarifying that each individual strut cost upwards of $500 each, they made simply stated it as it was an overall price for both. In addition, they never mentioned what the service fee was (around $450) and also failed to mentioned the overall price ($1,600) until it was time to pick up my vehicle. The most infuriating part however, was them acting like they did me a favor and take down the price at "cost" so instead of the initial $1,600 it was $1,300.

  I'm not one for leaving "scathing" reviews... so I'll just say... DON'T GO HERE. Only been there twice even though I have lived across the street for 18 years! Both times... very unsatisfactory. Second visit... they didn't fix the one item I went in for... replacement of my rear window wiper. The gentleman at the front desk (large set/Hispanic/go-tee) was not pleasurable whatsoever to deal with. He told me it did not need to be replaced. HE DIDN'T WANT TO SPECIAL ORDER IT. IT'S EXTRA WORK FOR HIM. They were happy to replace my front wipers that they had sitting conveniently in their store room... at an extreme up charge. I look at my rear windiw and the wiper was in STRANDS! I'm not sure what to think about that visit.

  Told it was going to take an hour and a half but took 3. I wondered why? So I looked through the window and saw the employee playing on his phone using social media.They did not honor the price match guarentee and did not know I spoke Spanish while talking about customers. Very bad service.
  
  Edit: the brakes didn’t even make it to 50,000 miles before I had to replace them again. They would not honor their lifetime warranty. Please stay away.

  I was a loyal customer for 6 years until this past month when their front desk salesman (Adam) tried to convince me that my car needed thousands of dollars worth of work done- Upon going to 2 other auto repair shops they told me this was an absolute lie and my car was totally fine.
  
  I would be very very careful if you are a woman going to this shop because they may be preying on people that may not know any better. I would definitely ask for pictures and proof as this was a jarring experience and one of my most negative experiences with an auto shop.

  Was in a MAJOR pinch on the way to an event after running over a huge screw. This Midas shop was the closest thing to us, and Adam was able to help us out. He was so fast, efficient, and nice! Best experience I’ve ever had at a tire shop! Thank you so much!
