I attempted to book an appointment online, and it stated that the appointment was not yet confirmed. When I called to schedule, they provided me with an appointment, but upon arriving on time, I was informed of a 4-hour delay. It would have been appreciated if they had called to inform me about the delay. I won't be returning to avoid wasting my time again.

my regular oil change service center was backed up, I called and spoke to Gene on the phone and got in in a crunch. He was very nice although the service took way longer than expected and from what was estimated/told. Additionally, I had several issues after my service that Gene quickly addressed and/or rectified. I would recommend to ask for a print out of your pricing breakdown prior to servicing your vehicle so you aren’t in for my surprises. I will also say the guy in the shop doing the work was very kind (I wish I knew his name) and listened to concerns and took initiative.Service: Oil change

this is a warning! please read! the only job/service that they are good at are the classic "triple ds": "defend, deny, divert" simmilar complaint with other "real" comments/ customer reviews: dishonest work, rude, disrespectful (owner, gene, cussed on customers) and over-all horrible customer service experience/business ethics. unresolved complaint-denied their dishonesty and bad workmanship. reported to customer relation and bbb. dishonest job (lied about my converter being bolted. only welding and cement then denied the leak.) there was no bolt around). they just patched up the bad welding job with a cement on my converter and denied there was a leak. i asked where was the bolt, then he immediately took back what he said because my dad, myself and his mechanic heard him saying that it was bolted. now the cement is cracking and falling off.the leak cannot be denied cannot be denied because it can be heard and felt. disrespectful (yelled and cussed at me and my dad after i caught him lying: "i can yell whenever i want! this is my shop! the customer is not always right! if you're wrong, you're wrong! i own this shop!") he's the receptionist, too, name is gene. he was very rude and gave us horrible customer service by shouting the whole time at us and made us feel stupid. very disrespectful (yelling at me and my dad to "get your volkswagen out of here! get your car out of here! get the f**k out of here!) he treated us like we're stupid when we were pointing out the issue/complaint. he said "i don't care if you file a report. report to better business bureau, report to whoever. tell your dad!" it happened after i returned to his shop because of my disatisfaction with their work/complaint about replacing my catalytic converter. i learned about their lousy job because of second opinion. extremely unprofessional and condescending by telling that the mechanics who gave me second opinion are "idiots". they just patched up the bad welding with a cementon my converter and denied there was a leak. i asked where was the bolt, then he immediately took back what he said because my dad, myself and his mechanic heard that it was bolted. now the cement is cracking and falling off.the leak cannot be denied cannot be denied because it can be heard and felt. he kept on cornering me and my dad with "word games". he lied and kept denying and diverting the complaint. i was ripped off. he was only nice when getting the money but when being questioned, he gets irritated, frustrated, got loud and cussed his customers. save your money and headache from this terrible business. we left traumatized. this man put midas' name to shame and ruined its reputation.

I had to stop in because my car was having trouble turning on and my brakes had also been making a weird sound for a while. They explained the issues to me in a way that made me feel very well informed. They serviced my car quickly, and the work was very well done. I highly recommend this shop. It is top-notch!

I picked my three lunatic kids up from school and almost immediately, I realized I had a flat tire. Pulled over and realized that I was right in front of a Midas. So I walked in and asked if they could help me. The gentleman working the front desk said that they didn't have any tires so he can't help me get a new one until tomorrow but for $25 they can put my spare on for me. This was absolutely dreamy news because I haven't changed a tire in over 25 years and didn't really care to do it today. They were able to fit me in immediately. My youngest was terrified by the whole experience but the guy at the counter gave her a sheet of stickers and suddenly she was in heaven. Would absolutely recommend, everyone was so incredibly nice!

Nice people, put in a catalytic converter, who knows where it came from sealed a leak with muffler tape charged a premium rate. Car is at the dealership having it done right. Thanks for your excellent service,

I came here after the first Midas in Lincolnwood didnt have a technician available to look at my steering console after a break in, thinking these mechanics are pretty cool. I still stand by the mechanics here being knowledgeable, patient with your questions, and telling you what's up for real with the parts needed and stuff. They're the best part of this business.Homeboy at the front desk with the muscles and white hair however talks to you in a rushed manner, quoting how swamped they are and not to waste his time if you're not gonna order parts or get the car fixed by them.If you're swamped, tell me you can't do the diagnostic instead of taking my car and then talking to me like I'M stupid when I tell you the quote is too high at the moment. That's why it was a quote, WE verified it together.I don't know his name because he didn't have a business card, but he wasn't even the fckn manager. Bro, the receptionist talked to me like I was stupid for wanting a quote.So if you can get past the first boss, the mechanics are fantastic, never had any issues with the work they've done.Service: Vehicle Inspection

The staff is kind and professional; the waiting area is well kempt; and the owner is dedicated to providing the best experience for every customer who walks through the doors. Bunch of liars, don’t trust them. I would suggest getting a second opinion and your eyes would open on these bunch of scammers. They don’t even know what the problem is and takes forever to solve or diagnosis a problem. Please get a second opinion before doing any work with them, biggest eye opener.
