Midway Moving did an outstanding job for us in our move from Chicago to St. Louis. Raul, Eduardo, Anderson, Jorge and Osvaldo worked unbelievably hard to get all of our belongings safely moved. They were very careful to make sure our valuables were wrapped in blankets and taped properly to prevent any damage from occurring. They were friendly and always showed up right when they were supposed to. We very highly recommend Midway Moving and we would absolutely work with them again!!

Midway moving and storage was awesome starting with ty in the office he quoted me 7 hours for a very large move I didn't believe they could get it done that quickly but I remember he told me that the guys were really professional he also told me if it took less time I would pay less the actual time it took to do the move was 6 and 1/2 hours and my bill was prorated for a half hour that I saved the workers were truly tremendous they were fast efficient and very funny they did not complain during the move at all even though I had a lot of heavy items all I can say is from front to start they were really great. A few days later I try to find a box with pots and pans so I called up thinking that the movers left it on the truck I spoke to a gentleman named George he was the director of operations he had the movers look on the truck and they checked the lost and found they couldn't find it needless to say 2 days later when I was done unpacking I then found the box and had a call back to apologize they really were perfect if you're going to use a moving company call tire George they were really great

I referred a friend to Midway Moving and Storage based on my own past experience, but unfortunately, her experience was disappointing. She didn’t have much to move, yet she was quoted the exact same price I paid despite having significantly fewer items. She spoke with a man named Charles, who was extremely rude and dismissive during their conversation — not what you’d expect from a professional service.
I also attempted to reach out to George to see if he could help clarify or assist with booking, but he never returned my call or responded to my text. It’s disheartening to refer someone to a business and have them treated so poorly. This lack of basic customer service is unacceptable, and unfortunately, it reflects poorly on the company as a whole.
I’m honestly surprised they still have a 4.3-star rating. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and works on improving how they communicate with potential customers. Respect and transparency go a long way in this industry.

Overcharged for Moving Services
I received a written estimate from your company for my move, which clearly stated that the job was expected to take approximately 7 hours. The estimate was based on a detailed room by room evaluation. No rooms were omitted.
To my surprise, I was billed for packing services that were not requested, disposal services that were not requested, an extra stop, and nearly double the amount of labor listed in the quote.
After receiving the final invoice, I contacted your office to discuss the discrepancy.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve this directly, I have not received a satisfactory explanation or adjustment.
The written estimate was a key factor in my decision to hire your company.
I have documentation supporting my claim, including the estimate, the final invoice, and a timeline of the move.
I respectfully request a review of my case and a refund for the charges that were billed beyond the agreed-upon estimate.
I am seeking only what is fair and in line with our original agreement.
I hope this matter can be resolved amicably and promptly. I am sharing this feedback to encourage greater transparency and to help future customers have a positive experience. I am not making any accusations beyond what my documentation supports, and I am simply seeking a fair resolution.

OUTSTANDING Service!!! I cant say enough good things about Raul and his Team! I unfortunately moved on a day that was 101 degrees with Sweltering Humidity! But the guys where totally Professional the whole move! I felt bad for the guys working in such Oppressive Heat and Humidity but they totally Nailed it! Nothing was broken or misplaced! I would recommend these guys to Everyone = friends, family, neighbors, coworkers even strangers on the street!
I cant Thank them enough for moving me in such conditions!

I wish I could give them a negative rating. It took them 5 hours just to move me out of my 1.5 bedroom apartment. They didn’t have a to pack a single thing. Everything was done in advance. So when they arrived at my new place the freight elevator was no longer available. So they charged me for 10 hours (the time they had to wait for the elevator o be available) to move 1 block. They knew what time I reserved both elevators for and they never hinted that there would be an issue. I have moved 10 times in chicago and never has it taken more than 6 hours total. They threatened to take their truck away without unloading my stuff unless I agreed to pay $2000. And then of course they destroyed my furniture and didn’t say a word. I got the run around with the entire team from dispatch, to sales and Managment. Not one person tried to help, instead they said over and over again it’s an estimate - which was not the issue. Do NOT use them. Horrible

Whatever they quote you…it will be double (at least) and they will force you to pay before they even unload your stuff. Held for ransom. They also broke down a workout machine, and said they would put back together at the new place. Then they refused..after we paid of course

We recently moved and had the pleasure of working with Gerardo, Camilo and Travis. All three men were nothing but polite and respectful. They arrived on time & communicated well with me throughout the whole process.They were amazing the way they got all our belongings out so quickly. Definitely would recommend others to use them! We've used other moving services in the past and boy was this SO much better! We will definitely be keeping Midway Moving as our primary moving company when we need them again.
