Mira Couture was such a great experience to search for a wedding dress! They had a beautiful selection of gowns and had one of the most beautiful fitting/viewing areas of any of the local bridal shops. While I did not choose my dress from them, I know I would’ve been very happy with several I tried. I felt very special.

Had the best experience working with Catherine Vreeland and the whole Mira Couture team! They brought my dream non-traditional wedding dress to life, and it was such a pleasure coming in for fittings and adjustments throughout the whole process! Their traditional gowns are gorgeous, but they can also think out of the box if that's more your style, and I had an amazing time!

Mira Couture was by FAR my best wedding dress shopping experience in Chicago. From the moment I stepped in the door I felt special and that I had a dedicated stylist that listened to what I wanted and delivered amazing recommendations. Brooke was my stylist and she was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. I ended up custom changing a part of my dress and she was great through the entire process from try-on, ordering, and alterations! It was so nice to have one dedicated person through the process that knew my vision every step of the way. This was one of my favorite experiences wedding shopping and so glad I went here! Thank you Mira and Brooke!!

Mira is the place to go, hands down! Catherine is beyond AMAZING. She helped me identify my dream dress that was nothing I would have ever imagined myself in. Without Catherine I am not sure how I would have looked on my wedding day... but because of her it was perfect!

I had the absolute best experience with Mira Couture. I had previously tried on an Eisen Stein gown and loved her style, but wasn't sure the dress I tried was "the" one. While scrolling on Instagram, I saw the Michel dress as part of their new collection and immediately new I had to try it on. Mira Couture was one of the boutiques who carried Eisen Stein, which was convenient as I had a trip planned to Chicago with my family a few weeks later. Mira quickly responded to my inquiry letting me know that they did have it and set up an appointment for me to try it on during my visit. The space was beautiful with a lot of natural light, and the team welcomed me so kindly. The dress exceeded my expectations, and Catherine was so amazing to work with, walking me through next steps and making me feel my best! Fun fact: when I got in my Uber after leaving Mira, Dreams by Fleetwood Mac came on which is one of my all-time favorite songs, so I knew it was a good omen :)

My mom and I had the absolute best time working with Catherine!
I knew I wanted a dress topper for my wedding day to add something special that really felt like me and my mom was shopping around not finding any mother of the bride dresses that complimented or excited her. We both walked into the salon with just an idea in our head of what we wanted and Catherine was able to bring it to life! Each appointment was seamless and the staff working on our garments were meticulous
I cannot recommend working with Catherine and the team at Mira more!

I had a good experience picking my dress at Mira, everyone was super welcoming and nice. However, when it came to my last few fittings everything changed. They became rude and dismissive during my fittings- even my family and friends that came with me to my fittings noticed. I had read reviews of other brides that had this same exact experience during alterations, and I wish I would have listened to them.
To start, the bust of my dress was ordered 3 sizes too big. I had 4 fittings that started 2 months before my wedding, and every time I went in they continued to make more alterations to the bust because it still did not fit properly. My consultant would always wave off any of my concerns and would tell me that by the next fitting it would be all fixed. My second to last fitting was 4 business days before I had to fly out for my wedding. I expected to have my dress perfectly altered so I could take it home, but instead, the bust was completely the wrong shape. I should not have had to pay for the time that was spent altering the dress to correct that. They were pretty rude about it, and I was so stressed that my dress was not going to be ready in time. They made it really difficult for me to schedule my last fitting, and were able to “squeeze me in” for my last fitting 2 days before I had to fly out for my wedding. When I went to pick up my dress, I was so disappointed to see that the bust was still too big. I told this to my consultant and she waved me off by saying that's how the dress was supposed to fit. At that point there was no more time to get it fixed, and I was super frustrated. Again, I did not feel like they took my concerns seriously. In my wedding pictures you can see the inside padding of my dress because of how big the bust fit. I also had to wear my straps off the shoulder because the dress was digging into my armpit. I was so stressed knowing how close my last fitting was to the day I had to fly out, and did not feel like my consultant did everything she could to ensure I had a perfectly fitting dress.
My bridal consultant also assured me she would let me know when I was getting close to the alteration hourly minimum when I signed the alteration contract, only to find out they exceeded this by 60% and all they had to say was “oops” and laughed it off. Totally unprofessional - I felt ripped off and disrespected. Yes I asked for a few customizations, but most of the time spent was working on the bust that was ordered way too big from the start. If my dress fit like a glove, I would not have minded paying so much money for alterations.
Mira is a beautiful boutique with amazing dresses and I’m sad that my experience ended the way it did. Trusting Mira with alterations was the biggest mistake ever. I would not recommend getting alterations done here. Find a seamstress somewhere else that won’t overcharge you and still leave you with an ill fitting dress on your wedding day. Getting your wedding dress should be a happy experience, not one that ends in tears on your way home from picking up your wedding dress.
From what I have seen with other reviews, they try to respond to each of these negative reviews with condescending comments trying to justify their error to make it seem like it’s our fault we had a negative experience with them, which I find just find even more disappointing.

Had such an amazing experience at Mira Couture! I have always recommended my brides to come here when they are looking for their dress, however, now as a planner turned bride, it was so amazing to experience personally. I worked with Brooke and she was an absolute angel! She was patient and kind and overall made me feel really comfortable.

Came here looking for my wedding dress and had the pleasure of working with Catherine. She was extremely helpful and had amazing dress recommendations based on the vibe / aesthetic I relayed to her. She was the biggest hype woman you could ask for, and really made the process so smooth. She was so accommodating and was able to help squeeze me into an appointment multiple times and extremely responsive. I was so lucky to work with her, it was such a pleasure! Would definitely recommend going to Mira and asking specifically for Catherine!

I had tried on a few dresses at different stores prior to coming to Mira Couture, but it was one of my favorite experiences. Everyone made me feel so excited and special! Brooke was my bridal consultant, and the whole experience was so lovely. She was respectful of my budget, easy to chat with, and offered good direction on each dress I tried on (what was flattering, what alterations could be made on portions I wasn't fond of, etc). I would absolutely recommend her and Mira Couture to any bride!

I have been working with Catherine on designing my own wedding dress and it has been truly the most amazing experience. She is so talented and truly listens to my vision. Wedding dress shopping can be very stressful but with her warm energy and how comfortable she makes you feel it has been so exciting. I can’t wait to see the final product of my dress!

Catherine at Mira is amazing! She helped me find my wedding weekend dresses and has been helping me with a custom rehearsal dinner dress. She later helped my mom find her Mother of the Bride dress and suggested customizations to help my mom cover certain areas of her body she was as confident about! She’s so creative and great to work with.
