I've never had to use the services of money wiring before, but a mess of loan failures and repossessions after a family death forced my hand. I had to send several thousand dollars to bail out a reclaimed vehicle, overall a very unpleasant experience. It was hard to find a moneygram site, I tried the few CVS stores the night before that were open but they were not working for various reasons. The next morning I found this store tucked back in the urine-stenched corder of the Thompson Center after looking around a while. The gate was open but they weren't quite open yet. The employee was nice and helpful which was unexpected, she explained it would be better if I got cash to avoid a large transfer fee. I ran to Chase and explained to them that I wasn't trying to rob the bank and got that all approved and came back with an envelope with a huge wad of 100s, which they counted out and sent. Meanwhile a large line formed behind me while they counted out all dem 100s. I left satisfied that it all worked and that I was helped kindly through the process, though bruised by the circumstances.
