It's a great local grocery store! They have weekly sales and good prices. All the food and pastries are great, and they bring in local businesses too. I highly recommend this place, especially if you live in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite grocers in my neighborhood. Small, easy to shop, they have a large variety of foreign products, fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, and meat. Friendly customer service and you get personal attention from everyone there. Good security. Wonderful for quick trips and great and competitive prices. Many fresh items go on sale around closing time at 8 pm.

Been going here for 7 years and now the new "security guard" that demands backpacks is ruining the whole idea of stopping in for a few items after leaving the train. I'm not handing over my work laptop, you creepy thief.
The guy tries to take my bag but 8 other people have bags - he says it's because they came in before 2PM and he works after 2PM. Right... I believe you. Once he handed me some janky clothespin to keep track of my bag he threw on the floor and when the stupid clothespin fell apart he got pissed. I've seen the same dude chase customers out and all the way back to their car for no reason - good job, guy, you're standing in the parking lot and checking bags instead of doing loss prevention. 10/10, would recommend for ... janitor.

This is a great neighborhood gem with fresh produce and great deals on fresh meat. However I refuse to step foot in here anymore after an altercation I had with their very rude security guard standing by the soda wall. I simply said “excuse me sorry “ to grab a soda behind him and he rudely told me “to stop shopping last minute “ excuse me sir are you the manager? My husband? You’re nobody that clearly hates his job. Pretty sure he’s a racist based on the comment section about him. Be careful coming in here because clearly he is unhinged and goes unchecked by management. Stay safe.

I loved shopping here for so long; but whoever is the new security guy, he doesn’t hide that he’s targeting certain groups. He’s very rude and standoffish. Forces book bags or even tote bags off and to an area by the registers. But will let certain customers in to shop and peruse the store with them?
I hope Morse reads these reviews because it’s seeming to be a problem amongst minority customers that he is specifically targeting. I even saw other reviews specifically about him.
Morse Market, as long as he keeps being contracted by yall I will take my business elsewhere and tell my friends to not shop there anymore. Less they want the 50/50 of being profiled and targets.

The rude and churlish security guard (?) stopped me and took my bag away from me without my consent as I entered and told me to "come this way" in a threatening tone.
What are you, the freaking TSA? Are you scanning for bombs?? That small plastic bag only had a book and some incense in it. I only intended to grab a few corns for dinner.
Extremely disrespectful and weird interaction. I will not shop here from now on and I will tell my friends and family to do the same.
Horrible!!!
