I previously gave them 5 stars a year ago however as time went on, this location has shown that they DO NOT CARE and want to do the bare minimum. I have bought from this company since 2020. Within the last year, I’ve had multiple issues. I brought my insured glasses in to be re-tightened as a screw came out. They were perfect on my face when I first got the pair. While there, I had to ask them at least 5 times to return to the back and tighten them as there were no changes. I gave up and now the glasses fall off of my face.
Now, I just did my exam and purchased my usual 6-month contacts where the woman asked if I wanted to pick up from the location or have them delivered to my address. I requested delivery as I always do. There was no mention of a fee which I expected as I’ve previously never been asked to. However, today I receive a text that my contacts are ready for pickup. I call and ask if this is an error and the rep tells me there is a fee for delivery for just 6-month lenses since post-COVID. My last purchase was in December (post-COVID) which they DELIVERED with no fee.
Had the woman told me at my eye exam that there would be a delivery fee, I would have no issue. But to force me to pick up with no notice of a change, or to NOW pay a fee for delivery is ridiculous. This is dishonest, misleading, and disgusting.
Another update here in 2025 smh.
Typically, I have good experiences with this place. As of late, I have been given issues back to back, especially when ordering contacts. There’s always a new change that isn’t made known to the client. One time, I am able to have them shipped free for multiple orders and the next time there’s a cost. The price of the contacts is constantly changing each time I place an order. Then, I have been able to price match and receive whatever discount that has been added for as long as I have been serviced by this company. Now, this is the first time I am hearing that you cannot do either of those options when you are using insurance. The representative tells me this is a new change. Why aren’t we notified in these cases?
Not only that, they were rude and constantly put me on hold, even at a moment when they should not have. They asked for my payment info and as I went to retrieve it, they put me on hold without asking if it’s even okay to do so. I don’t have all day to be on hold on the phone as I have my own employment to tend to. The customer service at this location has truly declined and I am disappointed.

Dr. Choi gave me an eye drop solution that EASILY cleared the issue I'd been having for the last 4 days. The immediate relief was such a game changer and I'm very grateful.

I love this place. Great service and glasses selections. The front desk people are so kind and knowledgeable. Last time I went, Vince was helping me. He was so sweet. I will be back for my next exam.

Vince was a huge help during my eye doctor appointment, keeping everything smooth and easy. He was clear and organized, and his kindness turned what could have been stressful into a really positive experience. I will be going back for future appts and highly recommend!

The folks that work here are so nice but why can't the company replace frames? I was told the ones I bought were not able to be ordered nor could they locate them at any other locations. A glasses shop pair of generic frames should be piece unique 1 of 1. Help me out please.

I went here for the first time in October of 2023 after losing my glasses on a trip. The techs before my exam told me to throw away the contacts I had in because I'd get free samples from the doctor, I was suspicious because I have a high prescription and kept them, I'm glad I did because he didn't have contacts in my perception available (totally reasonable, I don't know how many people would be able to use them before they expire), ordered new glasses, done.
When I came to pick them up I noticed the lenses were flat instead of rounded, I have an astigmatism so I've always had rounded lenses but the front desk people made me take them anyways and I didn't have a backup pair so I had no choice.
I tried to go today but the portal told me my appointment was rescheduled and honestly I didn't really want to go back after that appointment but I didn't want to find a new doctor. Now I am.

The exam experience itself was great, but I was given an outdated prescription from 2021 of a previous exam by front staff. Although they caused the error, they refuse to help as the order was not with them. They make you sign a waiver confirming you got the right prescription prior to the exam/receiving it, so hold off on signing off.

I had an absolutely amazing experience here with Dr. Albert Choi! He is incredibly personable, took the time to listen to all of my concerns. And just like a miracle worker, fixed an issue I had been struggling with for YEARS in just a few minutes. I cannot express how grateful I am! The staff is just as wonderful especially Riyah and Dede. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine passion for helping people made my visit even more special. The customer service here is unmatched, highly recommend.

I used to think this was the best place for eye exams a few years ago, but my recent visit was incredibly disappointing. Dr. Choi rushed through the entire process, making the exam feel hurried and impersonal, as if he couldn’t wait to get me out of the clinic. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and the focus seemed entirely on money rather than patient care.
Do not waste your insurance here for an eye exam. You’ll likely still end up paying out of pocket, and the poor experience isn’t worth it. I left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a patient.

The eye exam is great and Dr. Choi is one of the best. I will return for that again. 5 stars.
Glasses are very expensive, even after the insurance discount, and you don't get any idea what you're paying for thinner lenses, etc. I won't do that again. Buyer beware.
