After reading all the rave reviews, I was underwhelmed with my experience at this establishment.Pros:1) The waitstaff is friendly and we were seated faster than anticipated on a busy Sunday.2) The menu has a huge selection of Vietnamese foods to choose from (but this may be their weakness too; it could mean they’re not good at any particular one).3) The place is cozy and homey.4) The foods we had tasted pretty good, but this leads to the cons.Cons:1) Lack of ingredients (meats and shrimps) used.2) Was surprised the bánh xèo (Viet crepes) had only 3 shrimps and some bean sprouts and no meat in it. Traditionally, it has shrimp, meat and bean sprouts.3) The menu says the mì xào thập cầm (special stir fry egg noodles) includes seafood, beef, chicken, etc in it. It has only one 1 shrimp and a handful of noodles.4) The cháo thập cầm (special rice porridge) had 1 shrimp as well.5) The service was slow, it took 30 minutes for us to wave someone to take our orders.6) Another 30 minutes went by before we got our foods.Because of the lack of ingredients used, in my opinion, the dishes were not worth the price listed. I hope the establishment changes this practice, so travelers and tourists can keep coming back to enjoy their foods.

A cozy dining experience that feels just like home. With an extensive selection of Vietnamese noodles, rice plates, and entrees, there's something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the Mì Khô Đặc Biệt (the combination dry egg noodle)—super refreshing and flavorful. I'll definitely be returning for more.

Been my local for almost a decade now. Food is cozy and delicious, atmosphere is charming without being cloying, and the service is short and sweet - no lingering at the table. Perfect for me.

I’ve eaten at a number of Vietnamese restaurants on and around Argyle (Tank, etc.) and this is by far the best. Food is consistently delicious and servers are super friendly.

I'll preface by saying that my standards for Vietnamese food is relatively high. As a Vietnamese working abroad, I tend to seek out a piece of home through food. Nha Hang Vietnam, to no surprise, was serving up only passable dishes. I had the bún bò Huế (#84) and gỏi cuốn (#3). Gỏi cuốn was wrapped poorly, resulting in the rolls falling apart easily upon being picked up. Bún bò Huế had a quite nice flavor profile but failed to deliver the necessary intensity. The dish has been modified to fit more with the Western palette. Toppings were few and far in between. Overall, everything was only acceptable though it's important to notice that it's difficult to find flavors on par with home anywhere in the city.
